I don't check the nexus often, and when I do I usually forget I even have mods here that people might still want to use. (Don't get me wrong I think Crackle is one of my best mods... it's just also on LL)
If you neeed urgent support drop a message in the LL support thread for Crackle as I am way more likely to notice that, though unless it's something really bad I probably won't address it since I don't really make Fallout 4 mods anymore.
Thanks for trying the mod. I am quite proud of this one.
Hi! Love the idea of the mod. I see it works out of the box with Advanced Needs 2, but does it work with Advanced Needs 76? I think it may not, since it mimics Survival mode but requires you not to select the ingame survival mode now. D:
You've done a great job :D I'm loving this, and I very much appreciate that it doesn't force anything upon the player. I'm also digging the added cold sounds. Great mod overall.
mmm.. well, the cold sounds are kind of forced on the player.. They're actually too loud for me. And there are soft conflicts with clothes, armor, environment; i.e. player is acting cold when it's really not -that- cold.
Update: Author has said the following on the support thread for this mod on LL> "I'm no longer working on Bethesda mods. If anybody wants to make a patch they are more than welcome. This is a pretty simple mod with only like 3 scripts (IIRC)... an ideal first patch project for a new modder."
I'm having trouble sitting, when I click sit and select the seated animation i want, it fades to black nothing happens and that is that. same with the laydown option
I posted a similar message on LL, but I thought I would post it here as well in case you check one or the other.
Could you fix the following harmless messages in the log by checking for AAF plugin before looking for AAF_ActorBusy keyword? If you did, then Crackle could be used without AAF installed and without any errant messages. That is currently this test scenario: Crackle installed but AAF not installed.
Thank you very much in advance.

Is AAF required for this to work? Can it run without the animations? AAF is a big and complex mod with a lot of potential bugs and doesn't seem worth the risk of installing for a small immersion mod like this...
FYI, I tried it without AFF and have mixed results. At first, I was getting all the warmth effects, but the warming hands and sleeping on couches stuff was absent, since it depends on those animations. Now though, the warmth stuff has stopped working as well. No idea why. The mod still loads and it says "Crackle loaded" at startup, but nothing happens when I stand by fires anymore. Damn shame, because I REALLY liked the concept of a very lightweight temperature mechanic that doesn't take over the whole game like Nuclear Winter!
Yes, AAF is integral to the more interesting parts of this mod. Personally I think it's worth it, and if you are only using it for this mod it should be totally painless to use. Dagoba has a good installer.
I just wanted to say I love this mod! I was wondering if there are any clothing mods that would work to warm you up when equipped like a fire does, when your out in the rain and can't stop, I tried looking but didn't see anything, thought id ask and see :) thank you for making this! it works perfectly :)
Any chance we could get a version that just includes the buffs when near a fire? I use immersive animation framework and I'm concerned about installing AAF with it. I've also heard of people having some issues with it in the past.

Berserga23 your mod looks amazing, but AAF is somewhat intimidating.
