Yea I also think that was typical Lazytheda to not add any kind of protection to the dog armor, making it actually complettely useless and for even being in the game...
This isn't a Dogmeat patch. Its a dog armor patch. Its buffing the dog armor listed, if anything else uses it they'll also be buffed. If you just want better armor for Dogmeat, either get the Dogmeat patch: "A True Companion" or download a new craftable armor such as the K-9 Kevlar armor mod that adds in armor just for Dogmeat. There are plenty of Dogmeat buffs. I quite like these as they improve all dogs.
does this armor also apply to NPC dogs? installing uber makes them.....uber? that would be bad........ i see no posts about this in this thread. thought immediately upon looking at this mod that this would be the biggest issue.
did you edit the armors to only give DR to dogmeat and not any other dogs?

So, is there no item id for this armor? "Help dogmeat armor 4", "help dogmeat 4" and "help armor 4" was no "help". I did read through the posts on this page. So I'm guessing by the mod authors response to someone's question asking how to "get the armor", and the fact that any from of instructions on how to "get the armor" are nowhere to be found. So I assume that I will not be finding an item id for this anytime soon. But, there's no harm in asking. Anyways, looking forward to getting to see the dog armour if I can find it. I'll be completely honest, and I'm sure it's quite obvious because of my previous question, I almost always use the game id to acquire basically anything I want already in the game and also for mods. So I actually have no idea how and really, where to find this mod dogmeat armor. Logic would definitely dictate that if I am trying to find "dog armor", the best place to do so would be on another dog. Only thing, I've only come across wild dogs and I get the feeling that wild dogs cannot dress themselves in body armor and and strap a helmet to their head. So, can anyone tell me who has the dogs so I can kill them and their dogs and take the dogs armor? I would seriously appreciate any help.
This mod doesn't add armor specifically for dogmeat, it merely edits the dog armors found in the vanilla game to actually give DR. The dog armors can be found on raider dogs at higher levels. Google "fo4 dog armor", read up about it on the wiki.
