wow, what an interesting concept, i found this mod through a translation mod lol, but i'm glad i clicked on it, because i thought this game was getting boring and i didn't start playing this game until last year, so i'm glad to see there are more mods that do something interesting, i swear half of all the mods for this game are just straight up guns and i get board of gun mods really quick.

When I open up the Pip-Pad (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21953) in third person in order to use the Synth Healing Kit, or trying to use it from my weapon slots, my character will do a weird swooping animation towards the ground and will not heal their selves. However, if I open the Pip-Pad in first person, and then use the Synth Healing Kit, I will heal up no problem. Not sure if there is a mod conflict or something like that. Has anyone has experienced this?

So other then that weird hiccup, AMAZING MOD! I have this running with a few other Synth related mods and this really helps with RPing as a Synth. I hope you continue to update this mod moving forward because it's really awesome!

    Thanks for your hard work!

Hello love the mod it's exactly what I was looking for! Is this compatible with True perks?

Absolutely love this, but I do have just a couple little problems:

First, Medic and Party Boy/Girl no longer make much sense. Medic could be simply renamed "Mechanic" and have the same effects except with repair kits. As for Party Girl, I'm not sure what to do with that. Maybe replace it with something like "humor subroutines" that give the character a flat bonus to charisma and speech checks?

I would also suggest that Pain Train should work while under the effects of the Adapted Fusion Core.

Last, Idiot Savant has never made great sense and makes even less sense as a Synth. Since it's a Luck perk, maybe it could give a slight discount at stores with each rank? Call it "stealth protocols" or such.

Anyhow, I am still grabbing this and using it immediately but just thought I'd drop a few suggestions in case you get the itch to make this thing even better. Cheers!

EDIT: Oh and Chem Resistant doesn't make great sense either. Chemist I can understand because there's lots of reasons to mix up chemicals, just not for drug purposes, but Chem Resistant implies using them.

Sure, editing the names and flavor text of the perks is simple enough and I've considered it before. I think for Idiot Savant I can try to make it lore friendly by saying something along the lines of

"The Institute placed dormant data caches in your synth brain as a supplement to your existing memories; any experience gained now has a chance of activating a data cache."

As for replacing perks like Chem Resistant I'll probably come up with some interaction for the synth exclusive consumables like fusion batteries, but I'll want to supplement those with synth exclusive chems so that's a big can of worms that'll take a while for me to implement.

      Thanks for the suggestions!

      You're welcome!

I've been trying to add Pain Train effects to the fusion core chem and attaching recon/infrared sight to a perception perk but I think that's all a bit beyond me, unfortunately.

Would this be compatible with the Be Exceptional mod? If not, can it be made compatible?

The craftable items themselves like the fusion batteries should be compatible, but definitely not the Synthetic perk

Any chance the perk could be made compatible?

I don't think I have anywhere near the modding ability to make it compatible sorry D:

I would like something where you can only eat Stimpacks, Med-X and Rad Away because your still human but you have a Ghost in the Shell thing going on.

Very nice! I'm doing a "refugee" synth style playthrough right now and this is perfect for me. Thanks a lot

cool mod but i'm doing a cyborg character so could you make a variation where the wording is changed slightly towards cybernetics instead of being a synth? also no stim and drug debuffs but the things in your mod are clearly the better option?

That should be pretty simple, would you mind elaborating further though on the wording though? So I can get it right the first time round

I'll probably make this mod a little more modular in the near future so you can pick and choose what features you'd like
