It's usually not wise to replace the esp of the mod you made a patch for in the case of updates. This is a Crafting Framework patch I made that doesn't overwrite the original mod.
Oh hey thx for sharing. I was a bit sceptical since I'm using better cooking station mod (old mod not specially listed) and currently playing FO London. Your version sound less conflicting. Hope it will also work for custom additional Workbenches like the new FO London Ammo Workbench anbd Stove. And won't change the meshes, textures of cooking stations.
mobile mechanic patch doesn't work i looked into fo4edit and it seems it doesn't overwrite furniture from mobile mechanics mod, but instead created separated records.
Will this interfere with active scripts? When you are in attack mode there are scripts running, so will adding workshop scripts break the attack scripts.
or will you get shot up while fixing your power armor and cannot exit?
You can definitely get attacked while on the workbenches, all this does is add the "use as weapon" flag from the vertibird minigun onto all the workbenches (except the cooking stations); this is also why the bug happens where enemies will get on a workbench and not get off, they think that the workbench is a weapon but really they just get stuck on it and are basically a free kill.
That's why I didn't add the flag to cooking stations, as those are the most common workbenches. Someone could definitely make a much better version of this mod, but they haven't yet so this is the best we've got
Ok I figured. Thxs for the info. Sometimes, at a moment, the best will have to do. Thxs again.
Side Note; The only time I need to repair in battle is for my power armor. Maybe just doing a Power Armor version will help. They wont use the power armor.
Hello there, is there a way for you to create a patch for DankRafft's "Crafting Framework" mod? That mod adds a portable universal workbench and I'm unable to use it when in [DANGER] and [CAUTION].
edit: lol it only took me like ten minutes actually, it's up now! As with Mobile Mechanic, I don't use that mod so if you have any issues then report back to me
Hi there, sorry for the late reply. I just recently downloaded the patch and everything works properly now, even fixed some workbenches that were unaffected by the mod. Thanks a bunch!
EDIT: Endorsed mod, thanks for saving me a good 30 minutes lugging around loot overencumbered to get to a workbench.
Thanks for this. I seek the ability to eliminate knowing I am in combat status, both "caution" and combat. This is the final step other than when my character speaks (thanks to Player Comments and Head Tracking) for me to be notified that enemies are nearby and might know I am - and my player's comments are the only way I wish to use.
I will say wonderful things about you when I am in Hell. Thanks again.
Just be cautious when using cooking stations so as to not get notified! I would say get the Silent Protagonist mod but judging by the Player Comments and Head Tracking, you like the voice.
Well this mod doesn't allow you to use cooking stations during combat to prevent enemies from using them instead of fighting you, so it should be compatible
You've done a great, great justice. @o@ But would it be possible for you to patch the portable workbenches from Mobile Mechanic to work this way? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18262

Do you mind if I ESL-tag your mod file?

Either way, this mod is a win!
