28th of November, 2020: Update 1.0.2: Addresses a critical bug in the compression method used in archiving the sound files. When updating please allow up to 24 hours ingame to pass, before the scripts associated with the radiostation register changes and load the updated files! If you unpack and load the loose files you also need to allow up to 24 hours ingame to pass before the changes are registered.
25th of July, 2020: Update 1.0.1 just released. If re-downloading the entire package again (to enjoy that the loose files are now packed into .ba2 archives), please make sure you delete/overwrite all previous files left over from version 1.0.0.
If only downloading the update patch, then follow the instructions in the included readme file. This patch ONLY includes the changes made to the .esp and the VIS-G patch! Use this if you are worried about bandwidth!
This is true but for some reason, they have Joshua reading a Bible in New Vegas instead of a book of Mormon and a cross is even featured on it so it still works with the way this world seems to handle Mormons.
Latter day Saint's (Mormons) Actually read and use both, so in a way it still works, I'm sure the developers just didn't want add the Book of Mormon in the FNV because it wasn't official that the LDS church is integrated or represented in the game OFFICIALLY (would have been a nice detail though)
Definitely a missed opportunity to use James Earl Jones' KJV audio version of the Bible. Otherwise, excellent mod. I don't read my Bible near often enough, so this should help me immensely. Thank you.
I commend the dedication you put in. This would be a great mod for creating atmosphere in a small, fortified settlement where everyone is huddled together for warmth, keeping safe from raiders and mutants. Unfortunately, with my current set up, I cant justify a 1,8GB radio mod to myself. XD Still, keep up the great work!
Question, i collected the magazine to build the radio, and i have the station to listen to in my pipboy but i don't see the radio in my workshop menu anywhere. I'm using a mod called workshop rearranged, might that be causing the issue? It reorganizes things but i still see all the items from your other mod, the bible lecturns are still there, pews are still there, all of it but the radio i can't seem to find lol.
I have never in my years of using nexus posted a comment for anything, but I wanted to say thank you brother for bringing the word of God into this game. God bless you
Could you please tell me manual installation instruction for this mod? Like, where I need to put everything in the Data folder? Or it can be downloaded only with Mod Manager? I was trying to install this with Vortex, but radio doesn't seems to work. I mean it were there, but there was no sound at all.
If the radio-station is showing up ingame it should be working.
Have you tried waiting 24 hours? If you've loaded the radiostation on an existing save you'll have to wait 24 hours until the scripts kick in.
If you're playing a new save the station should be working from the get-go (once you exit the vault). Have you tried checking if the sound works on a new save?
Last time when I downloaded and activated this mod and it wasn't working, it's because I didn't wait for 24 and I had "set timescale to 1" which slows in-game time. That's why I couldn't hear anything.
This mod is now fully operational, I can hear the whole Bible playing in my Pip-Boy and radio.
