Hey everyone :) I recently got a notification that both this and the double action revolver animations have hit over 30,000 total unique downloads! I'm blown away that there would be that many people who were willing to add them to their load order even just to give them a try, especially given how large the modding scene is for this game already. Whether either mod works for you or not, I hope you eventually find what you are looking for to make your game as good as it can be.
I've been ghosting for a few years mostly because I've moved on from animation. When I was making this set I was working on it off and on alongside getting my bachelor's in mathematics. It was hard picking up animation and modding since I hardly ever did tech stuff in school, but I've always loved fps animations and pov videos and wanted to see what I could make if I gave it a shot. I worked on this particular set in the last two years of my degree, and because of that and the fact that I was no longer really playing fallout, I ended up burning myself out from animating. I'm sorry to say that I will not return to modding, at least not for fallout. I don't even have access to 3ds max 2015 anymore, so even if I wanted to it would be alot to get all the required programs back and set up. I do want to return to animation one day though, but it will likely be under a different name and will definitely NOT be fallout mod related.
I've also had quite a few people reach out about permission to use this mod for their projects, and to that I say absolutely feel free! You may use these animations for whatever you may need them for. I no longer have access to the raw project files (I've changed computers twice and had to format my ssd/hdd's a few times since uploading) so what's up on nexus already is all that I can provide, but I will keep these files up for as long as nexus is still around. Do not feel the need to reach out to get permission, although I do always answer nexus forum messages if you really want to. Seeing my animations on other guns is actually sick as hell, and I won't be upset if you forget/neglect to credit me.
Thank you to everyone who's given kind words over the years. They are honestly so hard to read because I feel like I don't deserve them, but I hope that's something I can get past one day as well.
Just a warning for those using the No Level List Injection esp. Since the mod overwrite the original mod esp, it will contain the leveled list and bosses. Remember to use fo4edit and remove the relevant entries before loading your save. I realized this too late in my game, now remove them just cause my save to crash. Other than that the mod function perfectly and the animation is really awesome.
