does the courser strigdae actually overwrite coursers too? Or is just used for actual institute members? I wanted to make the coursers use rakshasa armory while having the scientists use this mod, that's why I'm asking.
All coursers. This mod overwrites the courser outfit record, so if you load another mod that edits the same outfit record, it will overwrite and equip them instead.
You want to remove all the records to the IEX mod with xedit, ARMO and outfit most likely, there might be something else somewhere (easier to just go in the IEX mod and opening each category to see). Then right click on this mod esp and clean the masters, then when you go to the header you will see that the IEX mod is not listed as a master anymore, that means you removed everything. Then you want to go under the outfit section and add whatever replacement armor you want into the outfits that previously had the IEX suit in them.
This mod weirdly enough is preventing the people from having the cross outfits by default, the scientist and Kellogg in the beginning don't have the suits and I'm unsure why, I've checked and it is 100% caused by this mod, which makes no sense considering this mod is supposed to make them all wear the cross outfits. The mod just turns the outfits white, how would I change them to the original from the mod?
The white IEX suit is one of the skins of the original mod retextured. I don't remember what skin I used, but you can open the mod up in xedit and under the ARMO records, you will see IEX suit pieces. At the bottom of each of these records you will see the omods with one of them being "SKIN: some name". When you double click on it, it will open a dropdown menu and you can select the skin you want. Do this for all the IEX suit ARMO records, save the changes you made and the NPC's will spawn in the skin you've chosen. Keep in mind that if the NPC's are already spawned in your save, this will not take effect until they respawn. The best course of action is to go back to a save before you entered the institute.
Kellog and the other scientists should be wearing the IEX suit in the intro. I don't remember if I removed it for Kellog in the last update.
so i found an interesting interaction with tumbajama's Synth power armor due to the fact it uses vanilla synth armor textures the chrome retex is applied to it (breaking it's paint options) so it looks like unless someone makes a patch for it or i can manage to delete the retex (what's funny is letting something overwrite this mod doesn't force the synth pa to use their textures only these) i'll have to choose one or the other
Hi, love the mod but I noticed that in the black version the guns are not retextured? Is that intentional? And if so, where could I get the textures from, I really like them.
The weapon retextures in the pictures come from this mod. The synth armor retextures in that mod will overwrite the ones in this mod, so you have to delete them.
Hello, great mod but i was wondering if the original base colours for the IEX suit could be used for this because i don't exactly like the full on plain white
Hello xxsaisei. First of all, i want to say huge thanks for this mod! Everything looks simply incredible and adds a certain futuristic flare to the institute faction. I'm doing an institute playthrough right now and It makes me very happy wondering around the institute, looking at all the scientists and especially Father/my son as well as the way these unifoms look at my character. However, there are two things thatgrinded my gears. First - i do like the way you made synth armor look (i'm talking about chest, arm and leg pieces), it does fit the whole futuristic asthetic and fits scientists' uniforms perfectly. However, i actually prefer the way those armor pieces look in vanilla game. Plus, i was using some other retexture mods which did make them look better. Question: is there a way to make all the synth armor pieces look the way they do in vanilla game but all the scientists' uniforms look the way they do in your mod? (maybe make it so that the files from your mod didn't affect just the armor pieces or something?) Second - I'm playing a lady character (of course) and I'm using cbbe body (of course of course). I've faced minor clipping issues while wearing your new scientists' uniform together with synth armor pieces. The chest piece looks fine, but the arms and legs ones just kinda clip inside the uniform. I've read your article and I do know that it's cbbe that's causing it, but i really don't want to turn it off and i really like your mod! Is there maybe a way to somehow scale the armor pieces up a little bit to remove the clipping issue? Do you know how this can be done? Maybe there is another mod fro this?
You can open the ba2 texture file and delete the textures for the synth armor that are within (You can use Archive2 for that, you can get a copy of that here. Download the workbase file and the tool you need is inside. Think of it as a zip file or rar file, you'll figure it out). Or you can use any other texture for synth armor and have it overwrite this mod (It has to be loose files or it won't overwrite).
And you can make your own CBBE conversion meshes with outfit studio (Which is a good thing to know and learn if you use any body mod).
If it's the textures looking very blurry, that's a rendering issue with mod added clothing. I have no clue how it happens or why but I have seen this issue myself. It happens very rarely though. I'm confident it's not this mod or the requirement mods and it's simply an issue with the vanilla game.
I have found the issue! go to neiro's gumroad and get the 2k or 4k skins pack. It doesn't cost money just put 0.99 cents and click add to cart and use cross99off code to get the all his textures for free (he states the code in the description). This fixed my blurry textures

Thank you! I wouldn't have been able to do it without your help.

I've done a retexture of the Uniform for personal use. Can I share it here on Nexus ?
