I'd love something like this that just exposes the normal/sturdy/heavy or equivalent from dlc armors when inspecting but doesn't allow swapping/crafting
Tested it myself with this mod disabled. ECO redux allows you to change the armours from Light-Medium-Heavy, and you also have the option to change them without altering the physical appearance. So this mod is obsolete if you're using ECO Redux.
I wish I could change the perk requirements. Level 25 before I can make my armor medium or heavy? I'd prefer Armorer 1 for light, 2 for medium, 3 for heavy.
If it is of any interest to anyone, I'm going to be taking a look at this mod soon, and see about making a DLC compatibility patch, although that is very dependent on how in-depth any changes would have to be. I may also implement it for overlooked armors, such as DC guard armor. I am yet to run into any issues having used this mod, but if anyone has any verifiable bugs that need fixing I'll have a look as I go along.
I"ve been having softlock issues in the armor workbench when crafting variants for the vanilla armors, I've already uninstalled and reinstalled and I can't revert saves since I made a lot of progress, plus I've been softlocked in new saves anyway, anyone got any advice?
I wanna reinstall this mod again as i did a clean install of fo4 but after hearing about this issue im kinda skeptical. did you manage to fix this or figure out what was causing the softlock? :^/
One of the mods, it was either Armorsmith Extended or UFO Vanilla Armors/Outfits have a bug/feature that gives an option and makes light/medium/heavy free at the workbench.
I want to turn it off cuz it's infuriating me, but it just might be your cup of tea.

Uninstalling it does nothing, with all Combat armor still only having the 'craftable armor size' options.'
Anyone got any ideas?
