You want these awesome animations for the player only? If yes; there is a way but an "indirect" one. This is how:
1- Download "Kicks and Punches" and install MANUALLY, not with any mod manager. 2- GetTHIS mod. Install, activate, whatever. (Make sure it works) 3- Go to "Fallout 4\Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\Animations" and delete folder named "H2H". 4- Launch your game; open console, spawn the knuckles with the command 14.additem 5524B and equip them for animations!
Done!
Logic: This way, you will have invisible knuckles and the animations will only be performed by those who wear knuckles. Since knuckles are hardy ever worn by NPCs, it is highly unlikely that you see someone else performing these animations. (Well, I have never encountered someone else thus far.)
Yes it seems to be a good trick to prevent the NPC to have the new animations ! I don't know if really no NPC wears knuckles but at least it should reduce drastically the number of kung fu master in the commonwealth
I think I'm having a conflict with another mod that is looking to see if the player is unarmed, and by that I mean truly unarmed (not even knuckles, just bare fists). Does this mod add anything that makes the game think you are armed even if not visible? If so, how can I unequip it/equip it on the fly?
I dunno, I think after 200 years of resource and ammunition scarcity plus the Chinese-American internment prisoners remingling with the population over that time, maybe everyone WOULD be a Kung-Fu master...... :ponder:

Beautiful work, love the back handspring especially lol. Lot of fun with other animations like Elzee's grab attacks (along with all the accompanying mob grabs she released), Third-Person Melee Tweaks, various blocking overhaul mods, etc. Also goes well with LeahTheUnknown's Pugilism for extra boxing glove style fun. Third-Person First-Person Aiming works as well but has a minor bug that prevents you from blocking with no weapon equipped (triggers the perspective switch instead), aside from that I haven't found any conflicts.
love the mod i use it every playthrough. im currently editing the mods i have into packages, just wondering wat the "BoxingGlove" folder is for is your mod? doesnt the animations from "H2H" folder already apply to boxing glove weapons? thank you for the mod

I tried installing manually, I tried installing with the Mod Organizer 2, and I don't have any ohter animation mods!
You can manage the animation files to keep only the punching ones.
To do that, go in your Fallout4\Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\Animations\H2H\ directory
and delete (or rename if you prefer) the following files:
