i have a question: did you intend the game to run in windowed mode? i tried your .ini out and it put my game in a small window. thankfully i backed up my original .ini and went back to it.
Ah this is something I am really interesting in. Thanks for this. In my game i have removed shadows and on a bright sunny day the colours are washed out. I will take a look at your ini file changes. I cannot just overwrite my ini files as I have changed them a lot for performance.
You're welcome. Feel free to adjust the .ini settings to fit your personal needs! I should have been more clear in the mod's description regarding why I disable these various settings. I've now updated the info page. Spacefiddle is correct, as of now, all the changes listed are necessary for the mod to work properly.

I have updated the Installation Instructions for Bright Sun Fix.
It should solve the problem.
Edit: interesting, is all that in combination what causes the overbright sun? Was not expecting that
