Oh...... this is clever..... getItemCount as condition to avoid clutter..... excellent thinking and kudos for that
Thanks!
Works great and the new bandanas are even sorted as doggo items. So no more taking out doggies bandanas by accident when clearing his backpack :))
To counter the old threads down there:
- First of all, this mod doeswork for real.... no problems in a 500+ modlist game. (Even my edited version of it for resorting/uncluttering utility section of chem bench) So, no idea what some comments down there referring to...
- Second, it does not count against .esp-limit, since it is esl-flagged.
- Thirdly, I personally prefer this one over the other since I'm using FallUI sorter which enables me to quickly get looted stuff from companions. Having a new item for dogmeat and excluding doggo stuff from mass transfer is a big win for me.
So please, stay fair and respectful. Both mods working perfectly fine. Each one with its own set of advantages. It's all down to personal preference and absolutely no need to make one mod look superior over the other, especially giving out outright wrong information while doing a comparison.
For anyone wanting to use the Minuteman bandana - I found another mod which works with the K9 harness, Minuteman bandana included - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/53481
If anyone is wondering why you seem to be getting the "wrong" bandana recipe at the crafting station, Armorsmith Extended allows bandanas to be texture swapped, but it keeps the same baseid as the original bandana. This happens even with looted items.
So, for example, I had a Stars and Stripes bandana in my inventory, but was only getting the recipe to make a Skull bandana for dogmeat. It turns out what I'd looted was really a Skull bandana with an image swap (which also swaps the name) for Stars and Stripes.
It's not a bug in this mod, it's just an interesting side effect of how Armorsmith Extended handles color swaps on some clothing.
I cant seem to get the normal mod to work, I add it to the plugins.txt and I made sure to have all the files put into my Data folder but it still doesn't let me enable it as it says files are missing. Any ideas ?
If you have the .bsa and the .esp in the Data folder, make sure there's no typo in the filename that you typed into plugins.txt. I admit the plugin name is pretty long. Try using copy & paste. UnknownZombie_bandanaFitsK9Harness.esp
Or try using the launcher to enable it instead of manually editing the plugins.txt.
If none of that works, try downloading the mod again; maybe the download got corrupted or something.
