After coping "High Heel Sounds - Packed Master Resource" files into your data folder you will have to to enable "HighHeelSound.esm"  in you preferred mod organizer.
Then use FO4Edit and select "HighHeelSound.esm" alongside with preferred mod you wan to add sound, in my case "Dickys Pinup Outfit.esp".
Right click on "Dickys Pinup Outfit.esp" and select "Add Masters..." then check in "HighHeelSound.esm"
After that expend "Dickys Pinup Outfit.esp" and expend "Armor Addon".
Select part you wan to add sound in my case "AA_DickyHHBoots" (you want to select armor part that uses "body" slot. On the right panel scroll all the way down and you should see "SNDD - Footstep Sound" greyed out, right click and add. Then double click on added field and you should see drop down menu where you will be able to select "HHS_HeelFootstepSet [FSTS:010026D8]" (numbers and letters in the brackets can differ per user I guess).
Close and save. Load your game and enjoy.

P.S. I got confused myself and couldn't get it work at first, but after enabling plugin in mod manager "HighHeelSounds.esm" it worked. Sorry for my English, not native obviously.

This worked like a charm, but how do I add this to Fallout 4's vanilla outfits.

Cleanest way would be creating new esp and adding desired vanilla armor records. Only target slot 33 (body). You could technically edit game dlc esp but I wouldn't recommend that. You could google guide for this sort of thing.

Alright, I figured out that I think you switched up the two files, as in option two only worked for me when I used packed files. I got it to work and the sounds are satisfying to hear!

In the loose files version, why are the sound files packed in the "Sounds" folder? Shouldn't it be "sound"?

The wrong folder name basically breaks the whole mod.

this fixed the no sound issue I had, despite following the steps to replace the sound on the armor.

When changing the sounds on outfits that are available for both males and females, but only the female variation uses the high heel system, will both male and female versions still use the heel sound?

How do you replace DefaultFootstepSet sound in Creation Kit, there is only option to add pickup and putdown sound for outfit.

Can't make it work for some reason.

Followed the "How to Use This" and patched the esp, the same way as in the mod by Janecio. I was able to make that version work but not this one. I'm using TheKites Vault-Tec Slave Suit.
I also tried "patching" it to work with Armorsmith Extended just like DRAGONJOE69 did for Janecio mod but, still no sound with this one.

    Anyone got it to work?

Thank you for this mod, it was really easy to use FO4Edit to add those sounds to any outfit I wanted.
