Q/A First and foremost: please read the description! Q0: MAC-10 is an open bolt gun! A0: Thank you, I'm aware of that already. But I wasn't back when I was making animations. And to change it to open bolt I'll need to redo all three animation sets. I don't think this issue is big enough for that amount of work. Q1: What's the armor mod in the screenshots? A1: Gunner Operator by EvTital. Gloves are from Private Military Company by EvTital. Seriously, he's the tacticool boss. Q2: I'm experiencing crashes on workbench/inspection, or the gun isn't in the game at all, I can't see it even in console! A2: Read the important information section in the description. Tl;dr: most likely your Fallout 4 is outdated, update the game to the latest version. Q3: See-Through Scopes support? A3: Yes, you can Escape From Boston with that. Q4: Tacticool version with rails, flashlights, lasers, reflex sights? A4: Maybe later. No promises. Q5: Dual wield? A5: No, I won't make it. To be continued...
And thank you all for your kind words, I'm glad you all like my work, and there's more projects to come
Some of the comments are asking the mod author to change the animations to fit the open bolt mechanism of the real life gun, but I wouldn't be surprised if the mod author decided not to do that because (and correct me if I'm wrong) changing the animations and creating entirely new animations would be a time consuming big pain in the ass.
Changing the rate of fire to more closely fit the irl gun can probably be easily done with FO4Edit though.
You're entirely correct. Honestly I wasn't aware about the open bolt at the point when I was making the animations for this one. But now it would require to redo the whole 3 sets, I don't think that's so big of an issue for doing so.
Absolutely love this gun, though I have a question, likely me just being dumb and having a mod conflict or something XD, but were the custom sounds removed? When I first installed it, they were present and beautiful, but suddenly they are replaced with....some vanilla gun sound because it sounds quite underwhelming now. Vortex hasn't said any mods conflicted with it, so I'm confused why mine doesn't have its custom sounds suddenly.
Is it just me or does this appear on way too many NPCs? It's like Nic Cage in Lord of War had a surplus of Mac10s he was tired of lugging around so he just airdropped them into a 3rd world country lmfao
Yo. It's a perfect mod for me. Just using this MAC like my main weapon. But the one thing... There is no influence automatic weapons perk on weapon's DMG. Can you make a fix for scaling by "Commandos" perk on autofire mode?
"probably forgot to add WeaponTypeAutomatic keyword to auto fire mode".
Great job with the mod! Works, sounds and looks great. The only thing missing forme is maybe stainless steel and some drab/army finish. A laser pointer and some extra sight options would be great to see in a potential update. So far- I really enjoy it.
