Can't you just achieve a similar result by switching mag types without nerfing the perk? 10mm: Quick Hands + Standard Mag (Large or Small) is just 5% (virtually inperceptible) either side of your adjusted perk values.The only difference is choosing not to use the Quick Eject mag. Seems the problem the guy is having is from stacking, so just don't stack?
Quick Hands (Nerfed to 10%) + Quick Eject Large Mag = +30% Reload Speed. Vanilla Here -------Quick Hands + Standard Large Mag = +35% Reload Speed. Quick Hands (Nerfed to 20%) + Quick Eject Large Mag = +40% Reload Speed.
Ofc it's from stacking. Some weapons have different animations for 'quick reloads' e.g. the mk18, I want to use those animations, while still not being lightning fast. Quick mag's on modded weapons can be up to like 20% faster. 35% plus 20% = 55% upwards faster. It looks stupid that fast. Hence this patch for those people like me that don't like how fast it can be.

Quick Large Mag only = 20% Quick Large Mag with Rapid legendary effect = 35% Quick Hands and just a Standard 10mm with Standard mag = 35% Everything after this is stacking on top of Quick Hands - which you don't want anyway - but which you want to do (for some strange reason - so you feel you have to nerf?????) No combination you can produce will ever be within +/- 5% of the values I list here - the change is virtually unnoticable. The game play change fixes the problem without needing to mod in a game play change. Now if 5% is not only noticeable but hits that magic button - then so be it, carry on.
>.> tbh dude. a guy asked in my discord why he was reloading quick. we said it was probably cos of quick hands. i've used this tweak (10%) in my game for a while and it fixes my personal issues with the perk. i shared it. i posted it for the guy who asked. im not really going to think more on this than i have to. if it bothers you, don't use it. i dont reaaally care for the specifics on this one.
and thanks. more weapons to come like a spas-12. m4 custom, ksg-12, vhs-2, ares honeybadger. the glock19x is going to get dedicated custom anims in a few weeks and a textures update.
That reload for the KSG-12 would have to be the slowest reload in history.:D Added: If you could make switching mags on the fly between buckshot and slug work - you'd be a modding god.
