I wanted use this mod but because of the HD Textures Pack requirement. Do I really need this ultra Gigabytes heavy trash? I use Luxor8071's AIO (all 5 parts) texture pack. I prefer Transfer Settlements Blueprints mods that do not require massive other mods.
I have already downloaded and installed your Blueprint mod in DATA > F4SE > PLUGINS > TRANSFER SETTLEMENTS BLUEPRINTS > 1 (real game folder, not with MO2 mod manager). I use Mod Organizer 2.
This should require NO other mods, other than Transfer Settlements (obviously). Nor should it require any sort of HD Textures Pack. The main file should be just over 100 kb. If you have the main content DLCs (Automatron, Far Harbor, etc.) you should be fine.
If I may ask, when did you see that it supposedly required the HD Textures Pack? Was it in-game, or did it show up on the mod page before download?
cant make it show up either. it was among 4 blueprints I installed and this was the only one that I cant get to show up. looks cool, I hope it gets worked out so I can try it.
how do you do any of the stuff you said below i made a folder for the blueprint but it still wont show i dont know how to change the file to a JSON thing it it with a internet link, note pad doc or a word doc i cant get it to do anything elts i dont understand how i can just drag and drop the manual file when it dont download right? im very confused on why nothing i read here works
this looked like a really nice settlement, unfortunately it does not come up in transfer settlements. Alot of us do not know how to assign slots or fix the folders to accomplish this.
Hello, sorry for the late reply! This seems to be a common problem. I'll refer to suggestions in other comments.
"If it's every blueprint, you might not have F4SE setup properly. In a Transfer Settlements article (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/1114) it says, "Be aware that Transfer Settlements requires scripts included in the F4SE download, Make sure you have the latest version of F4SE.pex and ObjectReference.pex in steamapps/common/Fallout4/Data/Scripts/". I had a similar issue and was apparently missing those files. Manually dropping those files in from the latest F4SE download fixed my issue."
Also: "If you installed with a Mod Manager, it's because there is no file structure in the download. You'd have to either edit the folders, or just drop it in the [Data/F4SE/Plugins/TransferSettlements/Blueprints/] folder after creating a sub folder with your desired slot number. Hope that helps."
Easily one of the best blueprints I have ever had the pleasure of using. One note for the author. If you don't repair the broken connections, it only powers up about 316 items. When you repair broken connections it was like 1600 or so which was correct. There were still a couple that needed manual fix, but an outstanding blueprint.
I like the idea that old Codsworth was busy while I was a popsicle, and the idea of him building a town over 200 years is not a bad one. I use the SKK Kill Preston mod every game as I hate that SOB with a passion, so building the city before I go kill him and his crew is not an issue. I am going to wait till I wipe out the institute before I do it, in case I need his miserable ass. LOL... Anyhow, great bp
Hi, I'm new to using this particular Settlement mod. How do I actually import this into my game? I downloaded it into my Nexus Mod Manager but I'm not sure where to go from there... Is there something else that I need to install? Or something I have to do in-game? I already have F4SE and the Place Everywhere addons. Not sure if there's something else I'm missing.
Hello, you need the Transfer Settlements mod. When you install it, you should have a tape added to your Pip-Boy under Misc (has the prefix "[Settings]", bottom of the list); use that tape and select "Import". If you don't see my settlement on the list, refer to the other comments for a fix. Find the TS mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22442
As I continue to adjust this settlement in my playthrough, please feel free to comment your opinions on additions/removals/changes. For example, I'm considering removing the wall (pro of protection is kinda outweighed by the cons of added processing power needed and visitors' navigation hindered), and maybe replacing one of the apartment blocks with something else (like a robot workshop or something). Also please mention any issues you came across, like obviously missing components (the "OVERSEER" sign is currently missing the "-SEER") or anything else.
I have been looking how to actually get this to work. I have all the transfer settlement stuff loaded in my pip-boy but when I go to select the blueprint it is not listed for selection. Any idea on how I can get to it?
If it's just my blueprint, I'm not sure. If it's every blueprint, you might not have F4SE setup properly. Manually dropping those files in from the latest F4SE download fixed my issue.
I have just checked and the latest version for both those files are there. And unfortunately all of Phanes' blueprints are listed but yours and one other are not. I guess I will see if I can figure it out. I will reload the files again to see if that fixes it, too.
If you installed with a Mod Manager, it's because there is no file structure in the download. You'd have to either edit the folders, or just drop it in the [Data/F4SE/Plugins/TransferSettlements/Blueprints/] folder after creating a sub folder with your desired slot number. Hope that helps.
