Game crashes on load when trying to use opencomposite instead of steamVR... Buffout4 states this mod is the issue, and, sure enough, when disabled it will launch. Was launching fine when using SteamVR, but had height issues as well as quality issues.
because the plugin code seems to rely on steamvr for things like button events, tracking coordinates. it likely would need a rewrite to work without steamvr 🤔
It's a shame because FRIK relies on this mod to work, I can confirm the same issue as well. The performance gains using OpenComposite instead of SteamVR are too good to sacrifice. If this mod could be updated to work with OpenComposite it would be great.
How do I compile a papyrus script that uses this? https://github.com/lfrazer/FO4VRTools/blob/master/Data/Source/Scripts/PapyrusVR.psc I tried placing this in /Data/Scripts/Source where I expect it to go and in /Data/Source/Scripts/ though thats kinda odd. No dice.
Any idea why it might crash the game on load? Whenever I disable Fallout4 VR Tools in Vortex, the game launches normally. But if enabled, it's guaranteed to crash on load.
This mod also crashes my game on load, it can be the only mod I have installed and it will still crash until I remove it. Will update if I find a reason why

Uninstall/Remove Instructions? Any special Step? I installed it together with Idle hands, but gave up.. pip boy was weird and odd to use. Trying to remove it from my game and cant find instructions and now I have CTDs when starting new game.
I had to also, go to mods in vortex then on the right there is a gear(next to actions), click on that I checked categories box I think then in showed up in the list so i could delete it.
According to the Idle Hands author this mod will crash if a controller powers off. I have a glitchy steam controller dongle that will sporadically lose connection with my index controller which will cause the game to crash. Can you add a longer timeout to keep the game from crashing, allowing my controller to reestablish a connection to the dongle? Usually it's brief (less than a second). Much thanks!
