I finally learned out how to move all these things as standalone build items to the workshop menu! So now you can pepper your whole settlement with all sorts of different colors for tarps and shacks. I also found the grass thatched roofs and walls from Nuka World Safari Kingdom, as well as a generic Nuka World cloth shack that were never added to the DLC menus and added them as well! Now you can have your own grass hut by the beach to sip your imaginary piña coladas in. (Paper umbrellas not included.)
Note: If you downloaded an older version of the texture as a replacer, you don't have to delete it, but it is recommended. The only reason I can see you'd want to keep it is if you have a bunch of these already built through your settlements on a current save and don't want to be bothered with having to REBUILD them when it reverts back to the old Jangles the Moon Monkey texture. I can see that being annoying... Know that if you don't uninstall the old texture, though, you will have two identical items in your build menu--one will be the replacer, and one will be the new standalone item. Up to you, just wanted you to know that.
Also Note: The images show a white line around the edge of some of the tarps around the torn edges. I did my best to minimize this since I took those screenshots before I did some more tweaking with the transparency. I'm more or less satisfied with the results now, but some lighting conditions and monitors and ENBs might still show it. I tried. :\
I swear, if I released a mod that didn't have any problems the first time I post it, I'd die of surprise. I had flagged this as a .esl so it wouldn't take up any room in your load order, but then Loot gave me a nasty message saying the form IDs were way too high and could possibly corrupt my game. I thought I had compacted the IDs and checked for that in FO4Edit, but apparently not thoroughly enough. It's fixed now...it's still a .esl. It only updated two records--the Thatched Grass Roof and the Thatched Grass Wall, so if you didn't build those in the 24 hours this has been available, you should be all right. If not, you may want to roll back to a previous save before you updated, or just take your chances. Sorry about that.
You know what, I probably shouldn't be so delighted about NEW TARPS JUST DROPPED but I am. Silly excited about having them all as buildable options now. Thanks for the update!
Yeah, I would too, actually. That's my next project--figuring out how to add standalone stuff to the workshop menu. Creation Kit is still largely a mystery to me because I haven't had the need to use it just goofing around with textures, mostly, but now I have a reason to go research it! Stay tuned for a version 2.0. *fingers crossed*
The fallout 4 ck is still new to me as well, fully capable with he skyrim one but the fallout 4 one is different on quite a few things especially the confusing settlement stuff. Looking forward to trying out your future mod :D
kinggath from Sim Settlements has a nice series in his youtube channel on how to do stuff in CK, and I remember one of the early videos is on how to create constructible objects, or "co's" for short.
Best of luck in your CK adventures and grats on the release, these textures look gorgeous. :)
I could do that and put it under optional files. What resolution do you need? 1K (1024 x 1024)? Lower?
EDIT: I added a 1K version in the optional files. You don't need to download the larger 2K file first--you just need the optional one. Let me know if you need it smaller.
Right on, thanks. In my case, my PC can't run this game too well on account of it being both demanding and Bethesda not optimizing it well so the smaller the better.
Psst! I posted a 500x500 version of the blue tarp in optional files if you need it. I didn't test it first, so let me know if you have any problems with it.

Haven't had much time lately to play games but... THIS is going to be nice for a brand new game, these are brilliant.
Thanks for the textures resource!
