ATTENTION The stand-alone coat accessory may not fit exactly to whatever outfit you might like. There may be major clipping and/or floating. If you are unhappy with this, if you can't ignore it, you need to download Bodyslide & Outfit Studio Once you have Outfit Studio open, go to "File" and "Load Outfit" Load my coat .nif and the .nif of whatever outfit you want to fix it for, and select the option to "keep current shapes". Then you can remold the coat to fit your preferred outfit.
Hi, i love your outfits, especially the drifter coat, but i have one question. Would you give permission to port the Drifter coat as a standalone? You know us poor Xbox users are dealing with very few mod space and so many great mods, it'd free some space for those who only want to use the coat. By the way, the clipping isn't that horrible! We deal with far worse trust me!
I'm confused; do I need both the main file AND the optional file when I never downloaded this before? I'm no modder, but can't these be in one file?
Can I use the Better Cage Armor mod if I don't use this mod? All of this gives me headache, as modding and all these optional files with mods requirements that I don't need (This one), makes a mess inside my head :-(
You only need the main file to make this mod work. The optional mods are if you prefer the outfits to be a little brighter than what the main file has, or if you want it even darker.
The mod page for Better Cage Armor says Dark Drifter Outfits is recommended, not required. I think the mod author means the standalone drifter coat from this mod works well together with the Better Cage Armor. But you don't actually need this one.
(I know this is an old post at this point but just in case you or anyone else is still wondering.)
I doubt this mod is still being updated, but I'm experiencing a high amount of low-res "gloss" or "shine" on the clothing from this mod when my character is exposed to any form of artificial light (as opposed to normal sunlight). It's quite annoying and a fix would be a godsend

If you want a dark replacement I'd suggest Darker Clothes and Armor.

Update-update: redownloading FO4 through Steam fixed the issue.
