About this mod
Take your companions hidden ammunition and force them to follow your instructions....
....well if not all of them at least which weapon to use for the next attack!

Manage Companion Main Weapon Ammo
- version 1.0 -
This mod allows you to interact with the hidden unlimited ammunition of your companions,
opening a couple of tactical scenarios.
By removing them, the follower will no longer be able to use his/her main weapon
and will be forced to fight in melee or using any other weapon that you'll give to him/her.
There is only one thing to consider, they are still able to collect and use weapons
scattered around or looting corpses, they are truly unruly! :)
A LITTLE TIP
For the best results I suggest to use this mod in conjunction with Companion Command and Tactics.
It's a registrator2000's mod, personally I use only the inventory feature,
but it's an excellent mod and the others may also come in handy.
USING A PAD
I like to play relaxed in my couch using an Xbox360 pad and if you are wondering
how can I use keyboard shortcuts with a pad, the answer is simple, thanks to the Xpadder program.
In my settings the first group is completely unused except for the group selector
(pressing and holding down the Left Stick) and in the second group I have set for example
that by pressing button A (the one to interact) I can open the inventory of the partner,
pressing the B (used for the Pipboy) activates the night vision for the weapon sights, etc....

Practically it's a remake of my old mod Followers Ammo (UN)LIMITED
I've updated the plugin to include the DLC's content, Far Harbor and Nuka World, both are required.
Furthermore, I chose the simplest approach, leaving aside the interaction with the companions
weapons and focusing only on the main aspect, the ammunition.
I changed title and description that were and still are very misleading and I hope this time
it will be better in this sense, unfortunately I don't speak English and I have my difficulties
to express myself, but still I try and I think that's what counts.
In practice, interacting with the followers their unlimited hidden ammunition will appear,
you can remove and put them at your convenience and finally, just to be foresight,
if you happen to lose them you can create more and return them to your trusted friends.
The recipes are in both vanilla crafting stations (chem and cooking) in the utility category.
You can't go wrong, every type of ammunition has this prefix in brackets [Unlimited companion ammo].
UPGRADING
If you use my old mod and want to upgrade, don't forget to give back weapons and ammunition to your
companions first, then you can proceed safely by uninstalling the old one and installing this one.
