May or may not be working with the most recent version of the game. I can't check as I don't play anymore.

Edit 3/10/17 - still working just fine. Will update if needed for DLC areas but very unlikely.

I didn't even find this until 3/26, worked great.
Currently in a vanilla run, while updating and reorganizing my mod list, but I'm about ready to start my new mod run.
I'll post back if there are any problems.

Thank you, by the way, it feels weird finding empty workbenches. This made my game so much more enjoyable.

Still works as far as I can tell. I had it working post 1.6 update, but didn't make it very far in the game before I had to restart my mod load out,and game(don't ask, it wasn't pretty) for reason unrelated to this mod.

So I took some time to fiddle with this in FO4edit and managed to add loot tables to the power armor stations. Thank you for such a great mod, I hope my changes aren't too op.

Update: 2 years later and I've come back to fix what I added a bit, changed the file to an ESL for bigger load orders. I have also just uploaded this as my own mod with permission from Valmere.

Which mod is that that makes items have square brackets describing what kind of item it is that you are looking at? Or am I mistaken into thinking that this is a mod and actually instead a base game feature?

That's a really old version of an item sorting mod, not sure which one. May have started with a V.

    It works with 163 version.
But for me, the mod gives to much loot on survival. Literally tons of food in any cooking stations.
Also, it spawns loot in workbenches that not belongs to the Player (like in NPC homes), this loot is not red, you can take it freely. Not really immersive.

How about an upgrade ... so that powerarmor workstations are lootable too?

There have only been like two or three locations where the workbenches were still empty; ArcJet Systems, Ticonderosa and I can not remember the other.

Great idea, always bugged me that they were empty, thanks!

I'm having an issue with this, the cell keeps refreshing way too quickly. I have loot in workshops that respawn, and the cell itself has yet to refresh yet.

This mod doesn't change anything cell related. It just modifies the loot tables of workbenches.

I just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying this mod and how much it's added to my game -- I'm level 54 and still excited to find a new workbench, because there will be exciting things in it for me.

I found a mod that is incompatible with this one the Larger Settlement Area mod prevents any items spawning in the workstations.

It's definitely working for me - but it's WAY overdone. I found like 5 weapons and six grenades in a single workbench. Can you make a more balanced version, like 50% chance of one weapon, maybe some miscellaneous weapon mods or tools, and maybe a grenade or two? Finding an entire arsenal is too much of a cheat for me!!

In fact adding just some random mods or components would make WAY more sense to me...

You can't find 5 weapons in a single workbench. There will always been 2 weapons in a weapon station and 3 pieces of armor in an armor station. As for grenades, there can be anywhere from 2-6. It's pretty balanced considering you can find just as many grenades in other boxes and every NPC in the world has a gun. Stations aren't everywhere and as far as I know don't respawn their items. As for adding mods, I looked into that and wasn't happy with the results. I might try again sometime soon.
