This looks amazing, now I am wondering is there a safe way to increase the player level, so it would be appropriate for the location and the quest progression? Like for example set the player level to 10 or 15, without breaking the game?
Yes there is, but each save has the experience gained so far by dealing with every enemy and quest's rewards. I mean, the experience points in each save were gained fair and square Trudy (lol), and it was a pain in my arse to make it without expending perk points. Anyways if anybody feels that level is pretty low for dealing with other dungeons and areas, the safest way to boost your level is adding experience points, not setting the level. Remember that making this will skip weapons, armors and items that are gained at certain level, because of how leveled list works in correlation with the player's level.
The console command to gain experience point is "player.modav experience" and then add a number of how much experience you want. Try adding in batchs of 1000 exp points and wait till the experience bar ends charging the points, I remember having bugs by adding large quantities without waiting the gain hud ends properly.
Yeah i used to ask the same when started using my own saves. One of the wedding rings is inside the wardrobe at Sanctuary, the other one is inside the fridge cryo chamber on your spouse/wife lmao
Yeah that happens when you load a save in english, the og strings keep recorded in your save and your items in the inventory doesn't change, it should be fixed if you try reacquiring them by console commands or just playing the game and looting them as usual.
Would it be possible to get a version at some point without anything scrapped in any settlement? I like to build from scratch and sometimes I like the vibe of things as they are in vanilla settlements. Pre-scrapping means a lot of space looks empty when I import blueprints that assume vanilla objects are there, and I'd probably have to rebuild those ruined houses from scratch, etc.
Sorry for the late reply! That would require me starting a new game and playing through the entire thing again, sorry, I don't have the time right now!
The saves are in survival mode. In gameplay options you can change the difficulty and the saves options will be selectable again. Read the description.
Thanks looks Great, if ever need be encase of a fresh start again, for the lesser intelligent people with Brain inept-ism like me. more likely i am a destroyer of worlds.
Thanks mate, you're very kind! I've uploaded new versions with saves on key points like before the dc guards vs supermutants encounter, before piper animation in front of dc door, before the interview and such. Those kind of "miscellaneous" saves will be included in 1 single 7z with the Main Quest completion and be called "Save Packs".
has anyone had any issues enabling survival mode through console commands? i know some commands can break your game so i just wanna know if thats possible or has happened
honestly ive been looking for a mod that just only enables saving and console commands but all i get are these buggy mods with complex survival settings that i wouldn't even use
Use Fallout trainer mod, the link is on the description. Once you open fallout 4, alt tab to cheat engine, load fallout4 exe, load the cheat table and you'll be able to use the console on survivor safely. You can even make hard saves typing in console: save "nameofyoursave" without quotes, ex: save thecakeisalie. Saves created by this method will be available under Show All Saves submenu in Load.
I also do not recommend loading directly from this created save files. Exit to main menu and load from there. Loading this hard save while playing sometimes ends with a random issue.
interesting idea to use nexus as backup for a savegame i dont say its good or bad just interesting this not gonna fit for me i guess cuz atm having about 180 active mods :-P
I thought it was because of having many mods that someone would use a clean save. I have 205 mods and each time i begin a new playthrough i use a clean save like these ones. Gives me less errors from the mods i have, like holotapes from mods disappearing from my inventory if i start the game normaly. But that's just me :D
