Thanks everyone for the feedback, it is always appreciated. Hope you enjoy crafting up a [rad]storm now.
Alternative uncluttered model option and an esl option (so you can craft them all) now up.
With some simple file renaming you can have any of them that you like the best be the default. Also the first one has an alternate model without the fungus in the sink in case you don't dig the glow. You can just go to the Data/meshes/Furniture/Workstations folder where these are and swap the A01/A02/A01-00 etc. in the file names around.
Really nice idea, I've never really liked how the Chemistry Station looks (like, I'm ok with it being rusty, dusty, and not a state of the art chemistry laboratory, but as a former pharmacy and biochemistry student, the vanilla chem station is waaaay too barebones), plus the fact that a lot of mods add their craftable items into the chemistry station makes it feel like it should have other stuff in it, not just lab related items.
I downloaded the clean (uncluttered) version, I think it's a decent replacer without making all chem stations in the wasteland look like the personalized one with those specific items lying around.
These look great! I want to make sure I understand. If I use the esp version, it will replace all chem benches existing in the wild with clean, but still much improved versions, and allows me to build benches that are cluttered or clean. Do I have this correct?
This is simply amazing, great work there! Definitely an essential mod for fallout 4 now :D May I request if it's possible to port these models into fallout 76?
Make sure the esp landed in your Data folder, and that the other items are where they should be as well. And of course be sure you have your modding set up correctly and this mod activated properly.
Very nice. Ended up going with this mod (clean replacer version) for my entire playthru. Makes chem benches look like the multi-use utility bench the game (and many mods) really use it for rather than just chems, and imho this is what the game's original should've looked like. Thanks. Endorsed.
These are supreme. Such a great job. Thanks for the ESL version too. And for telling us how to keep the originals if we desired. As orsowox said below, it's weird that we were building so many things from a simple chem station.
Hey, Jimmy. Narrow immersion indeed...lol. I feel like such a doof. I commented before without having installed the mod. Just appreciating the screenshots. Well, I installed it today and the benches were invisible. After reading @Skull52200 comment about the .esp issue, I thought Mod Organizer was giving me issues and it was. I had to manually install the files into FO4's data folder. Everything is good now. I wonder why MO didn't read the mod?

Thanks again. Enjoy the new year.
