Why need this mod?
If you have a modded dangerous commonwealth, Named/Friendly/Important NPCs are often killed in unknown battles after you leave them.
If you don't want Named NPCs killed by a molerat after you complete their quest.
If you don't want a team of feral ghoul follow you into the Diamond city and kill all the citizens you're calling for help.

This mod prevents scripts remove protection from important NPCs

-without changing NPC base data.(So it won't conflict with other NPC mods)
-without runing new script or quest.(So it won't cause script lag)
-without plugin.(Load order no matters)

FAQ

What is a "Protected" NPC?
Spoiler:
Show

A "Protected" NPC means there is a "Protected" flag in its base data. It makes NPC can not die from others except the player character.
It'll go into bleed out state when its health drops to 0. And resurrect after a little while.
Only player can kill a "Protected" NPC.

What's the difference between this mod and other mod protecting NPCs?
Spoiler:
Show

Other protecting mods usually add "Protected" flags to NPCs. They change the NPCs' base data and they will easily conflict with/be overwritten by other mods that modify the same NPC data.
And the protect effect will usually be overwritten by vanilla quest scripts even you have no conflict. And they don't know when and where the NPC should be protected or unprotected.
This mod protects NPCs by editing vanilla quest scripts. So important NPCs touched by vanilla quest will be protected in the right time and right place.
You can also use both this mod and other protecting mods to always have a populated unbreakable world.
