I'm slightly confused on how to go about this mod. I have both versions installed (the leveled list and the main file, as I am under the assumption that's what I was supposed to do) but they don't spawn. before anyone says it, I have that part added to my .ini file so that's not the issue. I also have the fix installed, so maybe that's what conflicts with it? Idk someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please
I am not an artist and can't create a low poly version. Lots of mods are set up with just one model so I think High Poly Vanilla needs to cater for that. Don't get me wrong the vanilla set up is meant to be high poly (_01 file) but that's not often the case with the mods. Often it's not the artist that creates the mod too which is why often you will only have one file.
"I have people asking me to show them a video of my modded gun in action, so I know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna record footage of the game at night, with a darker nights mod installed, and never show them anything in a well lit area or even a weapons work bench so they can see absolutely nothing clearly! It's brilliant!"
definitely an improvement. I was hoping for a futuristic mechanical reload where the cylinder automatically opens and closes after being expended and fed. I'll take what I can get though.
For anyone curious about trying this mod it works fine, just needs a few things to work out the problems. If you're having texture problems, gun looking like a big ol' bowl of fruity pebbles? you'll need this- -https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25691- Unpack/extract the Main.Ba2 file and drop the extracted folders in the data folder as if you were installing manually. Don't forget the main esp as well :o And if your character likes to slap the gun while in third person then do this :3 Go into Data/meshes/character/animations/weapon/556pistol From there you'll see a folder named Synth, copy the folder Rename the copy to "player" and put it back in the folder with synth and some other file I forgot :p And that should be it, the gun should not look like a bowl of cereal and your character won't slap it anymore for not working properly D: Credit goes to Scrambler63 below this comment and FafnirEtherion (also below this comment) for pointing out the cereal texture bug and the edit of his original comment for his fix. Just wanted to throw this comment together for new peeps coming to check out this mod and put all the fixes in one place for it. These comments helped me work out all of the problems me and others have had upon installing this mod. It works just fine no worries, turn that frown :( upside down qt :) <3
Hi Bwones, I don't usually comment but I really like your mods and attention to detail (I especially like Cranky, Luger and the Recharger). I really like the lore-friendly weapons so this pistol is a really nice addition. I have an issue though: the firing sound is really low for some reason. Opening the BA2 archive, the sound files sound alright, but not in-game. Also: is the main file necessary to download? It seems like the levelled list integration file has all the necessary files.
Hi gmoi6, I know you messaged Bwones but Im only responding because this is the last message ive seen on here for months, and its only a few days old, hopefully you will respond... anyway how did you get this to work, ive downloaded it on vortex and it just doesnt seem to want to work, this would look really well with the NCR outfit and pipboy 3000. Thanks. EDIT: anyone going to respond to this might as well don't because i got it to work
I know how to fix 3 person reload animation. You need extract "meshes" folder and "wpnreload.hkx folder" from 556mm - Main.ba2 . Paste meshes in your Data. Then you need to put reload file from folder "wpnreload.hkx" to Data\meshes\actors\character\Animations\Weapon\556pistol. Also in that folder you will find folder "synth". Make copy of the "synth" and rename it to "player". This actions helped me. Sorry for my bad english. p.s. Degenerate Dak thank you for video about lore friendly pistols =)
