I just wanted to thank everyone for the suggestions and the endorsements. I appreciate the support and the new ideas. This started out as just a personal mod to correct what I considered to be an inconvenience. I'm glad to know that others are finding it useful as well.
dude u are super awesome balistic weawe upgrade great !! but i have request can u add version where bos uniform adds 1 agi , 1 strenght and 1 end something like army fatiques?? i ask this because i wear army fati and combat armor togeather but i HATE that bullky looking when u equip theese togeather and bos armor looks with combat armor just epic
That shouldn't be too hard to do. I'll look into it. I agree that the BOS uniform looks great. There are some really awesome retextures out there too.
*Update* Okay so currently I don't see where the base game has a current enhancement that enhances strength, agility and endurance. There are various enhancements that will do 2 stats though. Obviously some examples are: Strength and Agility, etc. I could create an additional enhancement but I think it is best to play it safe there until the GECK is released for FO4.
Since you requested the Army Fatigues enhancement, I went ahead and applied the +1 Strength +1 Agility to it and uploaded it. Let me know if you would like another enhancement instead.
DUDEE u are the BEST really apreciate it man thanks a lot i tryed to edit and mod files bud there seems to be some kind of error in ym fo4edit dont know what bud dont want mess with things i dont know what to do with i gonna think what should be updated if u agree your mod is really goood really goood maan but it seems that vrequested version does not work for me i instaled it with fallout4 mod manager
Well there are several things that I can think of that may cause issues:
First, the new patch was released and, in itself, breaks the launcher. Can you post a link to the specific mod manager you are using? If it is this one:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/495/?
Then I recommend trying nexus mod manager for the sole purpose that the author has stopped development prior to the most recent patch. The latest version of NMM has built-in capability to stop the FO4 launcher from blocking mods.
As a workaround I would suggest making sure that the plugin is enabled. I've tested this on multiple computers and, unfortunately, have been unable to recreate the issue.
Another possibility is the download may have been corrupted. Try deleting and downloading the file again.
It is also possible that, depending on the mod manager used, the .zip format may not be supported. Without knowing for sure which mod manager that is simply speculation.
I'm just trying to throw some ideas around for possibile causes of the issue. Let me know some more details and we'll try to get it fixed for you :-)
*Also* Make sure that you are using the"player.additem 00148B86" without the quotes to add in the uniform. Unfortunately, there are multiple versions of the uniform in the game. The one that the above console command spawns is the one I have modified.
NMM does not find my f4 there are not even choice of f4 to find never mind i figured it out i tried to spawn it and it spawns correctly but another request it is that basic recon bos uniform i was thinking about that black officer one i know there is only one this uniform in the game should u edit that one?? is it posisible and i have question .. U ARE AWESOME and is possible to add +1 all SPECIAl to item?? i tryed to mod things but my fo4 edit have some kind of error and i really dont know how to create mods
At this moment I don't think that it is possible to add +1 to all. Currently with the GECK not out, modders are a bit limited as to what can be done. Once Bethesda releases the GECK we should be able to create different enhancements. As for the other uniform, I'll have to look at it. If I release it, it will be under a different file since it is a different set of armor. I'll take a look in the morning.
Glad you like it. There are some great re-textures out there for it. I personally prefer the black version and there are several of those out. Looks great with some other gear.
Alright after some confusion on my part with how everything works, I think I finally got an upgradeable version of it created. I'm going to upload it as an alternative version.
Seems like the servers are acting up. The file is currently being scanned for viruses and it is taking forever. The new version should be up soon once they sort out issues.
Make sure to add Brotherhood of Steel Uniform not BOS Uniform. Sorry, I forgot to mention it. I didn't mod the BOS Uniform because all of the re-textures I've seen have been of the Brotherhood of Steel Uniform. I just used the BOS abbreviation.

Unless you have it modded in some other way, the Brotherhood of Steel Uniform and the BOS Uniform both have 1/5/5 protection by default. The Brotherhood Fatigues have 10/10/10. I'm not sure what the case would be for you.
