Better Bloatflies adds the bloatfly larva syringe effect to bloatfly projectiles. If an NPC is hit with a bloatfly projectile and dies within 90 seconds there is a chance their corpse will spawn a new bloatfly. I've also increased the base damage and radiation damage of bloatfly projectiles slightly.

Better Bloatflies adds the bloatfly larva syringe effect to bloatfly projectiles. If an NPC is hit with a bloatfly projectile and dies within 90 seconds there is a chance their corpse will spawn a new bloatfly. I've also increased the base damage and radiation damage of bloatfly projectiles slightly.
This mod does not edit bloatflies directly (just it's "weapon") or change how the bloatfly larva syringe works so it should be compatible with most mods. Taged as an esl light mod as it is very small. Not compatible with Lunar Fallout Overhaul as this is already in that mod.
This makes bloatflies a little more interesting as they can have much more of an impact in random encounters against other NPCs. It also means the bloatfly larva syringe can cause a cascade effect if you get lucky. You can imagine that these insects aren't just attacking but laying eggs on(in?) potential hosts. This mechanic is just a sped up interpretation of their reproductive cycle.
