The old instant enter/exit file has known bugs as listed in the description, please do not report old bugs here. I occasionally come back and verify the most recent version still works and it always has, I will fix it if it ever stops working.

I am using Version 1.0, and for some reason, the exit animation will not work whatsoever. I tried the Version 0.4 as well, and I had the same issue of the exit animation also not working. The game appears to just die, and I am only able to press ESC to quit the game. Not too sure why this is happening.
Did you ever solve this? I'm having the same issue except when i uninstall the mod and go back to my save, it still does the game break where all i can do is press ESC.
I did had a similar issue with the power armor workshop, and I installed LOOT to see if that could solve my issues and it did and it was an old outdated mod that was the issue, so if you have not tried LOOT, you might wanna give it a shot, not that it might solve anything really, but who knows? https://loot.github.io/
It can be a conflict with other mods, specially mods that change the body or the skeleton as well or specially animations... ;) Just a thought and a pure speculation.
USERS BEWARE: Editing the exit speed of power armor has been a long time known glitchfest. It WILL corrupt your power armor frame eventually, soft locking you into the frame unable to do anything.
The only fix for this is: Un-equip all armor from the frame you are in. (It will get deleted otherwise.) Find or spawn another power armor frame. Enter debug menu by pressing the ` Key. (Left of your 1 key.) Click on the new frame, (It should say: "various_numbers[PP]"), then type: activate player
After hitting enter, you should see your camera get forced into 3rd person. And you will stand there for a bit before warping to the new frame. You should now be able to exit the frame. (Your old frame will disappear from existence.) Save game, uninstall the mod. And have happy days of non-corrupted frames.
Yeah, I can confirm that it does nothing Probably if I have to guess some popular mod changes the behaviour of PA rendering this mod useless, unless you play basically vanilla this mod won't work
You could always use mine. Doesn't have the heroic stance or instant enter/exit or whatever but you can quickly enter and exit power armour without issues.
Enter animation does not work very often, seams to randomly decide when it wants to let me hop in quickly (out of combat). Exit animation is working every time though.
Playing around with sprinting and ejecting / entering like a couple comments mentioned but that doesn't seam to change anything.
Either way thanks for the mod, still gives me the quick eject :) If I realize why it's not working properly on entering the power armour I'll make an edit.
