The old instant enter/exit file has known bugs as listed in the description, please do not report old bugs here. I occasionally come back and verify the most recent version still works and it always has, I will fix it if it ever stops working.

I noticed it is related to the distance to PA when you are trying to enter. When I'm moving as close as possible to PA before pressing "E" then the fast (combat) jump-in animation is always playing. But when I'm moving slightly backwards before pressing "E" then the standard slow entering animation is playing.
So, while maybe it is not always convenient, but the easiest workaround is to always go as close to PA as possible before pressing "E".
Is there a way to get the 'heroic' empty stance without using v0.4?
I've been using v1 for years and it works perfectly, but this mod seems to be the only one that makes the empty stance better. I'm not super good with MO2, is there a way to use both mods together and overwrite the buggy enter/exit animations in 0.4 with the good ones in 1.0 and preserve the empty stance?
installed with Vortex with 1.1 version yet somehow not seeing the change in animation, did tried to reinstall couple times still no result. any suggestions?
I was seeing the same thing. After further testing it it looks like the animation changes only affect Power Armor you haven't used/spawned yet.
-edit- Weirdly, now that I tested it and got the mod to work on a new game, it started working in my previous save/character where it wasn't working before.
I had a quick loot at this,. doesn't seem to be mentioned in the description but that mod touches similar animation data so unavoidable incompatibilities.

I just tick the bottom three boxes, that's it and it just works for me. I'm still on the pre NG version of Fallout 4 btw.
