About this mod
This mod adds lasers, flashlights, foregrips and under-barrel grenade launchers to weapons spawning in the gameworld. Sidearms get silencers, lasers and flashlights too.

Back in the day, weapons of Modern Firearms mod used to spawn with mods on
all possible points of them. They sometimes spawned with under-barrel
grenade launcher on them, alongside lasers and flashlights on their
side. This mod brings this back.
Grips, lasers, flashlights are fine, but be aware of bugs about the under-barrel weapons, they are not available for a reason.
Only assault rifles can appear with GL, except AKs .
AKs are not involved in these attachments currently.
The player's hand clips into the UB weapons.
The UB grenade launchers may have side iron sight, but not neccessarily; every type has both models.
Switching to the UB weapon
You can switch to the UB grenade launcher by pressing the under-barrel switch key. It won't work for the first time, try it until the grenade type chooser menu appears. Be patient.
The grenade chooser menu sometimes appears twice, you need to select twice.
A new version of this mod gets the sidearms join the party. Pistols will spawn with silencers, lasers, flashlights and different size magazines through the game.
If you don't want to wait for finding a weapon with grenade launcher, you can get one through console commands.
Go to a container (anything that can store items, like a desk, box, ...), open console, and click on it, its name will appear on top of the console ("Desk" for example)
Do the test with a REC7.
Type in: help rec 4 weap
where "rec" is a part of the name of the weapon you want, your choice ("famas", "g36", ...). It's enough to give a part of the weapon's name, "mas" instead of "famas" whould also work
The 4 corresponds to "search among items" (not only items actually), weap means "but weapon-type items only".
A list of items will appear. You will need the 8 character long id of the weapon you want. Don't choose [MF Custom], only the simple one. For example, the id of the REC7 looks like xx00d001, where xx is based on the load order.
Type in: additem id 100
whihch menas 100 of the item specified by id will be placed to container. You will find the perfect weapon for you among 100 of them. For example: additem 5100d001 100
where 51 is the xx in my case.
Exit console, open the trade window with the container (R key by default), and have fun.
Modern Firearms 2.7 alpha
The Modern Firearms 2.7 alpha version is available at the time of writing. This mod has been updated for MF 2.6.9 hotfix 2, and it will be updated for the stable, or beta version of 2.7, because it may change a lot until then.
In MF 2.6.9 hotfix 2, I experienced a new way of handling rail mods, which, in short, is left + lower + right + upper rail and foregrip. Currently, it applies to ACR, MCX, Honey Badger, and the SCAR rifles, these won't have UB weapons (GL or shotgun).
I'm sorry for skipping a year on Nexus, I feel bad about it. For compensation, I share a mod for MF, which brings back the removed weapons (a total of 15 as of MF 2.6.9, 12 removed and 3 still existing, but not available, but working, missing files are included). It will be available on an other modding site, because I'm not sure about whether it is compatible with Nexus' rules or not, as it contains some texture and model files. I will upload it withing a few days, this part of the description will change after then.
