    i run this with bastion, they compliment each other really well. Actually makes power armor feel like a force to be reckoned with and makes enemies in power armor just as deadly. it's so nice that it only affects the frame, saves a headache on making other power armor mods compatible.

    Best PA Frame overhaul imo, adds many neat features that make the PA unique and interesting!

    Why would you disable calibrated mod. You realize that power armor screws you over when it comes to carry weight and you actually can lose a hundreds of carry weight depending on your perks / items. I need a power armor mod that lets me have as much carry weight when I'm using something like a backpack + cybernetics armor by niero as an example.

      Did you read the entire desc ? I don't think you did because with this mod PA already has high enough carryweight -> 15 fixed strengh + 50 base cw, or with optional version always +5 strengh and +50 carry weight wich is the same amount of cw that both calibrated gave you, but you're not using a mod slot for that so you get both the carry weight and another uppgrade wich is pretty good buff already
      And you can't expect people to make mod made to fit your personnal modlist. This mod was made with my taste of balance in mind. If you don't like just don't download it. There's a lot of others mods mods that buff PA more than mine. So just download theses mods.
      I saw you started making your own mod after posting this, I hope you realize that it wouldn't be nice to have someone come and complain on your work for no reason like you did.

    Very good! I would expand on your mod in two details.

    1) As Calibrated Shocks are disabled, put Pain Train in its place as the replacement leg mod and replace the Pain Train perk with a kicking/stomping attack for those out of PA.

    2) The sneak nerf is fine but the Chinese and stealth boy modders should still get their due, enabling the sneakiness for people that use the Stealth Boy mod but leaving the detection nerf in place. Thus Stealth Boy PA users are found and lost and found and lost again and again, just as really should be!

      Stealth boy works as it should already in my opinion (you need to be immobile for it to work and I've only debuff the player movement detection, not his sneak skills). It still works well in the open for ranged stealth, or in interior once people will hear you coming and start investigate just crouch use stealth boy, wait them to come and you can sneak attack them. I don't know what is the chinese mod.

      You gave me an idea about pain train but I'm not sure how to do it but I'll look into it, I'll might make it so pain train is enabled by default in PA and that the perk only boost its dmg and give the calibrated shock a better sprint speed (so it benefits pain train user).
      Edit : overdrive servos already boost speed, I'll find something else, calibrated shocks will probably add only damage or stagger
      Edit2 : it's done, I'm uploading it right now, pain train is enable by default in PA (but a weaker version) and perk boost it like vanilla, calibrated up it's damage each to 1/3 of its damage at perk rank 3 (so 2/3 of its damage with both leg with calibrated mod)

      On a second thought I decided to tweak the stealth a bit, based on your opinion on stealth boy. I reduced the detection penatly from moving in PA and buffed the stealth boy, it now increases sneak and you can keep its effect while moving.

    Can i request a version where the Strength modifier is Additive instead of SetAV?

      Yes. SetAV is not recommended for use. Additive ModAV is recommended instead.

      I like fixed strength because power armor isn't actually enhancing you, it's like a new body instead but I'll do it !
      How much strength would you like too ?
      (The mod is already additive by the way, like vanilla game, it just has condition so it adds the correct amount of strengh to your base strength)
      Also if you don't want to wait for me to do it, and if you know how to use fo4edit, open my mod in it, go to object effect and edit the ench-pa-abilities entry by removing all the "power armor strength" effect but one, set it to any amount you want and remove any of his conditions.

      The reason for this is that setAV is a pain at the best of times. More immersively, users are hauling the PA around by their bodily strength if it doesn't have a fusion core active. (don't forget to have the +6 Strength disabled without a Fusion Core!)

      As it is, clothing and armor buffs are canceled in PA already, although I'd contest that for main item like, say, yer ballistic cloth enhanced Vault Suit. Things that should add on really should, is the logic behind all this.

      gameboytj you still didn't tell me how much strength you'd like power armor to add !

      (I repeat this mod doesn't use set av, it just adds the strength necessary to your character at his given strength level to attain 15. So at one strength you gain 14, at 14 strength you gain 1 for example, above 15 strenght you keep your current strengh bonus, vanilla game already handles the power armor strength this way. So no need to fear the setav usage)

      Oh so if i had my strength above 15 then it works as normal? I was worried my strength would just drop down to 15 if i had a higher number.
      Also probably like 5 strength?

      Yes ! It only adds strength to reach 15 if you're not already at 15 or more strenght, in vanilla that was the same but only to rreach 11 strength (but if you have mroe than 15 strenght with clothes you'll lose this strength, it only takes in account your character base strength).
      Optionnal version that always add +5 is uploaded.
      You need to know that to grab the minigun in the early quest you need at least 8 strenght, so you need at least 3 point in strenght, or to use console command.
