1) The STANDALONE version will make the beds standalone in the game, but this may conflict with other mods adding stuff in the settlement crafting menù. If the game crashes because of conflicts, use the replacer version.
2) The REPLACER version will replace all vault beds in the game with my beds. Not a big deal, it's the same model with a pillow on it. You may find some beds with two pillows if the developers added it on the bed, again not a big deal, there are people who sleep with multiple pillows. Use this version if the standalone doesn't work for you.
Switching between the two versions it's fine, the beds you already crafted will not disappear.
- Uploaded Version 1.1:
Now all my beds have pillows, thank you very much Elianora.
Screenshots of you settlements using my beds are always welcome!
IF YOUR SETTLERS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE LACK OF BEDS: it's not a problem from my mod, it a vanilla bug. Just scrap all of the televisions in your settlement (yes, do it) and they will stop complaining.
- Uploaded Version 1.0 - First release (should be also the last).
Thank for this nice mod... Edit: so i poke around the xEdit and find out that is verry easy to fix the missing icon in building menu, maybe should author polish it
Not only that, this mod is ancient. If you install this, you get an un-necessary bed called, for some reason, Bed Sheets. This exact bed is replicated by Automaton DLC a few items to the right, with an even lower material build cost. So you end up with 2 versions of the same Vault-style metal bed with 2 different costs. And a missing double bed icon...
However, on the upside, those beds do have their pillows, and in the right place.
Is anybody else seeing a problem with this mod in which companions cannot path to the pre-war wooden double bed, even if standing right next to it? I have not yet tested the other double beds.
If you really read the description, you would have read that what you are reporting is not an issue, but the way the mod is supposed to work. It is supposed to count as two beds, but only one can sleep in it at the same time. Game and mine modding skill limitation.
Love this mod. Freakin' Bethesda should have had this available for us from the darn beginning. Bunk beds are an excellent tool for those tight settlements like Zimonja.
Here's my tip on the bunk or double bed but only one sleeper problem. Try one or both tips - Tip A seems to be the simplest and easiest method. To prepare - simply wait/sleep until after midnight when all NPCs go to sleep. See which beds are still empty. Then.... A - Approach settlers standing around and one by one assign them to any empty bed. Within 24 hours they will eventually go to bed and sleep. Settlement/Vault is quiet and peaceful. B - Approach guards and assign them to specific beds, leaving the rest available for settlers until you can isolate the settlers to beds.
Personally, I like some settlements to have settlers awake and being active or hanging around the bar drinking. At Sanctuary, my settlers party hard at the bar I built under a greenhouse.
*NOTE - The soda machine and slot machines really screw with the settlers. They leave their posts and gather around these machines. I found them getting up from bed to play the slots. I removed them all. They were a nice way to add happiness but in the end too buggy and messy. Take this under advisement.

If I might make a suggestion:
Make the top and bottom bunks separate, but the single/top bunk will snap to the top of the bottom bunk.
The queen-size beds function correctly, but the bunk beds are booked.
I'm using the Replacer version, so there shouldn't be any conflicts with other mods.
