I use these lights in EVERY settlement I build at least once. The angled round boys are great tacked up at intersections on old stoplights and downward facing round boys make great street light replacers if you want to use the existing poles and conduit connections for some good old "using what was there and fixing it but not 100% and still making it better functioning than a shitty lightbulb on a string" look.

The wall and ceiling lights aside from being just you know, great for lighting in general make great greenhouse lights aesthetically. Super great for adding extra atmosphere to area's that need to be more dramatic when you have a less awesome machine as well - even using the low end lights in comparison to vanilla lights from other sources can make a HUGE difference on your shrine to the Molerat King.

Any idea if this is compatible with More Vault Rooms? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16896
That one adds stuff to the vanilla vault menu so I'm afraid it'll crash with yours...

Should work fine, just make sure this mod is loaded after that one. Also, keep in mind that the new building pieces added by that mod won't have the snapping capabilities of this mod.

    Honestly love this mod.
Any possibility of some re-textures based on Fallout 76?
Like the Bathrooms and other rooms etc.

    You sir are a genius
so lucky i found this, I was about to give up on the vault entirely because the only light that would snap onto the walls cost me 2 frames each on a flaming hot overclocked 1070 even if i wasn't looking at them. How the f*** did Bethesda miss this. Its like they didn't even try to build anything and just released like that. I have so many issues with this specific DlC, Nothing ever gets explained in any way, for some reason mounting staircases doesn't work in certain directions, randomly spawning ghouls, the Entrance to your vault is on the bottom floor ( I mean come on that cant only be me that found that extremely annoying, The entrance is as deep as your vault goes WTF is that gonna protect against exactly? ), The railtunnels are big enough to put a hallway through and yet you can't cuz of how they placed them, A person had 200 years to dig themselves out and failed to notice that There are two other entrances, There is a real lack of furnishing, broken pathfinding gets worse in an vertical space, the overseers desk doesn't snap onto overseer room floors AND LASTLY OF ALL THE EXPRIMENTS VAULTEC COULD HAVE RUN THERE YOU GET THE MOST BORING OPTION.
Thank you for fixing even a tiny bit cuz clearly bethesda couldnt be brothered to do the same.
went on quite a bit of a rant there

The latest version will address at least one of your problems with the DLC -- the Overseer desk now has snapping.

Any chance you will be adding a working navmesh to the vault door (like Vault Door FIXED) and the missing door override switches (like Vault 88 Door Switch Fix - Override Boxes added)

What situations is the vault door not working in? From my testing it seems fine. The door override switches are another problem -- I could do it but there's an issue where the door doesn't disappear when you open it, which I'm sure I would get complaints about.

litbeep, do you plan to add support for Vault 88 More Room Items (MRI) and Vault 88 Room Corners Plus (and also its MRI patch)? Your mod's items don't snap to a pieces from the above mentioned mods.

      No plans for that unfortunately.

hello since you are talking about the Vault 88 Room Corners Plus that comment means that the elements of the Vault 88 Room Corners Plus are unstable or broken or that it generates incompatibility with this mod?

No, they both don't cause any instability at all. Just rooms from these two mods don't have snap points from Vault-Tec Workshop Overhaul Redux (for lights).

edit: I'm a moron who forgot to add archiveinvalidation to MO2 ini

Thanks for doing this, this is something I really want to use, but I tried this and noticed it messed with my menus, specifically the atrium build section was invisible/missing, I panicked and alt+F4'd out before checking what else. I had an atrium already built and it deleted all of it. How do I make it play nice with my mods?

Using MO2 btw. I don't care if I have to start over, but need the menus to play nice. My menu organization mod simply re-groups things like conveyors and builders, not sure what the problem is. Thanks again, hope someone sees this...

Was the menu section for the Atrium parts missing, or just empty? If it was just empty it may have not been able to find the loose mesh files. Do you have loose files enabled? I'm not familiar with those manufacturing mods, but I know SMM, UFO4 Patch, and Scrap Everything use archives. I'm assuming The faster terminals and startmeup mods are only plugins.

So, if you don't have loose files enabled, the esp file for this mod has changed the path for the meshes away from the vanilla location, which is in the DLC06 archive files, to the custom folder location, and the files in the custom folder are loose.

*edit* ...and I'm a moron for not reading your post edit before typing all of this.

Fun to have, not so fun to put on. There CAN be too many as well. They'll start interfering with one-another.

With these vault pieces the collision mesh can cause problems as well, especially with the ceilings. You get the snaps on the ceilings where you want them, then you get in game and can snap the light just fine, but can't select the light again to pick it back up.

This is easily one of the most essential mods if you even want to *touch* the vault-tec DLC. Real s***-for-brains intelligence at BGS for not implementing what this mod does, in the Vanilla game.
