While I'm definitely the last person to complain about immersive and realism (Animerace anyone?) I do know for a fact that the suits from other vaults is being spawned in vault 111 is kind of...odd?
Eh, well, still useful. I'll just pretend that some dumb newbie at Vault-Tec did that as a rush job accident or something. I should probably save scum my previous save just to try geting the Vault-Tec Security 111 Armor version as close to legit as possible.
Probably sounds like a small detail to most but i agree with the immersion thing. The other older loot crate mods i have tried have either precombine or static boxes issues. Maybe i can give this mod a try if they fix the vault suit thing in the future.
Theer is actually lore that makes a note of someone from Vault -Tec in shipping who did Exactly That! At the Main Vault Tec offices downtown, there are terminal entries where someone is complaining about a guy who is not doing his job right, and that he Sent the Wrong vault suits and security Armor to Vault 111!
If the PS4 version requires DLC, it would be nice to know which ones. I assume, after checking the nexus page, that it needs the Vault-Tec Workshop, which I don't have yet.
hello McMacHack. thank you for your mod. it works well with horizon compability wise. some feedback on the balance: i tried the hard version with horizon 1.8. (survival, no desolation) and it is a little heavy on the loot side. you can pick up 100 adhesive and such, that is a fortune in horizon. a more balanced version would probably give about 5 % of what the crates give now.
I've never played Horizon so I just guessed. I figured that containers that don't respawn was the route to go so once you empty a crate it doesn't magically refill.
There are a couple other mods that do this but I don't think they factor in the difficulty level like you do. It should improve the chances that some Horizon users will try it. They seem to like the game to be more difficult and resource constrained. I may go back to it after I get some settlement blueprints done that I like and can use in a Horizon playthrough.
