    Works.  On every rotary weapon in my arsenal.  Vanillia, skibaa, microguns - ballistic and laser - you name it.

    It's a beautiful thing.  Heartily endorsed.

    I did a little bit of porting this mod to 76 is it alright if I post it up there and credit you? Someone else already made one that looked janky so I went on an adventure to find a better alternative, this was it.

    for some reason this removes the sounds from some miginuns, like minigun turrets from that turret pack.

    Idk wtf bethesda was thinking, and same for the guns in fc5, yeah they look and sound cool but has many a game dev ever even done more than poorly watch a youtube video lol, I'm sick and tired of inaccurate depictions of reloading guns when I've obv seen correct animations in some games lol. 

    but yeah the spin up time is absolute bs and is among the reasons I don't play f4 on console anymore.

      The reason game devs often make it so miniguns have to spin up before firing is balance, Bethesda is almost certainly one such dev since they were stupid enough to make the minigun an early game weapon by just handing one to the player in one of the first paces they are supposed to visit after leaving the vault.

      The spin up is a myth that originates in demonstrations with a freshly loaded gatling without primed barrels, if you just stick the belt into the feed and don't partly rotate the barrel assembly, you'll have empty chambers, which causes a delay in actually getting live fire and looks almost exactly like the video-game spin-up. Most demonstration videos of gatling guns show such freshly loaded weapons.

    Fun fact, the spin-up completely defeats the purpose of why the minigun was invented for helicopter door gunners in the 1970s. They needed something they could hit targets hundreds of meters away with as the helicopter flew by really quickly.

      Gatlings are a lot older than the 1970's... But the 'spin up' comes from footage of a completely dry gun not firing until the feed has filled empty barrels, which is common in almost every demonstration of gatling guns, same for spinning after firing, as they are out of ammunition.

    Do how time works in game. the in-game time is faster than in real life so setting it 0 spin up delay works 100% of the time just do how fast in game time is

    Hey, I know you haven't updated this mod in a while, since there really isn't a need to, I was just wondering if you would consider making patches so that this works with mod added Miniguns like the Capitol Wasteland Minigun and Miniguns Rebirth.

    this mod caused the decorations to disappear from my build menu
      disabled / removed , and loaded recent save and still missing
        disabled / removed , and loaded a save before downloading this mod and decorations are in my menu again

    no option to create a bug report so I'm posting here

      If my experience with modding taught me one thing, it's this: if a solution to a problem doesn't make sense, then it is a matter of time when the same problem will return.

      Save and reload after loading a save that relied on different data to update or remove incorrect records in Bethesda games.

      I recommend adding an average of 5 mods to most games due to minimal support and testing modders give their mods. Expect each mod to multiply stability by 0.95 or maintenance by 1.05.

      yeah ... all good points
       Tried a new play through , and !st person works 3rd person doesn't
       meh I don't fight in 3rd so no biggie
       with no negative effects so far

    Wil this affect scene with Vault-Tec rep before the Vault when soldier spins MG?  :))) No accidental/intentional deaths? ;)

      I 80% sure it uses my animation file, in which case I predict idle phase starting immediately and lasting 1 second longer.
      Knowing Bethesda, the soldier probably doesn't have any bullets.
