If you would like another name I haven't yet made available, feel free to post it below. As long as it's family friendly, I can probably whip it up for you and place it in optional files within twenty-four hours of seeing your comment. Will reply when I see it, so you know to keep an eye out. Codsworth is staying Cogsworth in my game, and as this is not a retexture mod or something similar, I'm sorry in advance, but I won't be testing each and every rename in game and uploading screenshots. I use the exact same method for each rename. My game is heavily modded and the Cogsworth rename still shows up fine. Should you run into an issue, I have bug reports open. You may upload your own screenshots of renames, however, and if they're also family friendly, I'll be more than happy to add them to the user images.

Up until seeing this mod I had no idea his name was actually Codsworth. I already thought it was Cogsworth. I stumbled upon this by searching Cogsworth, expecting to find mods for him but only found one, and that's because I spelt it wrong, lol
Unsure why it's not working in my game. I'm fairly confident that it has to do with the plethora of mods I'm running, but I wanted to show some love for the mod author anyway since I think the idea is absolutely there. I always thought that "Codsworth" was a misspelling - it's just a dumb name for a bot IMO. May try it again as my mod list gets thinned out along the way. Will let y'all know if/when things change. Without seeing your load order myself, the only mods I can think of that might conflict are either ones specifically focused on him, robot mods, companion system overhaul type mods, or maybe even quest mods that give him more lines. Best I can suggest without seeing what mods you have is to try loading the mod farther down your load order.
Thank you for weighing in here. I opened up FO4Edit, & it looks as if it's overwritten by Valdacil's Item Sorting in the perk description, & Companions as Settlers by Vengurd. I tried to establish sorting rules via Vortex, but they are listed as masters, so my custom rules defaulted to cyclical. Cotton

Ken, if you'd like, I can upload Codswallop as an optional file. I went with Cogsworth because it's closest to Codsworth, so it sounded like the best combination of a British butler and a robot who spouts corny jokes.
To be quite honest, I'm as shocked as you are that no one else came up with it before me either. It hit me a couple of weeks ago, so it's been fermenting in my head for a while now. Once I was certain I knew how to make the mod properly, I figured why not? And here we are.
