The MOD is SUPER but in the future you shouldn't have a Flashplayer on your PC, the risk is too great.
Too many security gaps in Flashplayer and support were discontinued by Adobe on 01/01/2020. So no more security hole will be plugged. That means that hackers, Trojans etc. can exploit the holes. There is no firewall to protect against this and anti-virus programs can only react (software update).
I didn't think it had been so long ago that I installed this before, but now that I am doing a clean install, and have deleted all the old files, how is one supposed to set this up without flash player?
Is this even needed anymore for 21:9 aspect setup, or is there an alternative to Truby for ultra-wide screens?
Hey Sondral123ad! Your mod has been working great for me, and I have my HUD looking exactly how I want it. However, I notice a small problem with the UI after I use your HUDMenuSet.swf. Once I apply the changes and start my game, the UI looks exactly like how I set it to in the preview. However, the transparency behind all the UI icons is off. It goes back to looking like if it's formatted for a 16:9 screen. What am I doing wrong that's causing this?
This is apparently a known problem when scaling the HUD to resolutions or aspect ratios not officially supported. On the forums for Truby a solution was posted but there apparently are some side-effects. See https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5691577-trueby9/page-74#entry73100178 for instance for more information. There are a couple of post on the Truby forum that discuss this issue a little bit more.
