    This mod has caused me to exercise caution when prowling around certain downtown areas. After the first time I went thru a door and came face
    to face with a room full of Gunners and their support assaultron(boy was that a little moment -classic!),I now pay attention to the Gunner symbols
    painted on certain buildings. Now I just go downtown and start some trouble if I want a good fight. ;)  Nice mod.

    dose this mod works with  immersive gunners plaza and immersive vault 95 ? and dose your mod removes the vanilla gunners in the Exterior or it adds more enemies along side the vanilla ones cuz in the screenshot i see only robots , i want the gunners outpost to be as tough as it can so i want to use your mod with the other 2 mods ? can i?
    is it compatible ?

    Good idea, but i suggest to not adding too much (like tons of turrets) and keeping it realistic. Gunners are not supposed to be stronger than the BoS (not even equal).

      According to the lore they are tactically equal to BoS while having no morals.

      Dunno much about such lore, but I see Gunners capture and fly BOS VBirds pretty often. I have not beefed up gunners, but I have BOS, and gunners still beat them on occasion.

      Stealing few Vbirds don't make them equal to the BoS... I mean, the BoS is a major faction in almost all the USA since many years (at least, known everywhere).... Gunners are the Commonwealth's Talon Compagny... Mercenaries with no real leader or real purpose (except "money"). They are far away to be like the BoS or the Enclave. But it's just my personal opinion.

    Just a small rant, I guess, about the Gunners. According to the load screen text about the Gunners, they can be hired for the right price, however, in game we cannot do that, ever. Maybe this was cut content(?). It would have been cool if we could pay the Gunners to not attack settlements, or to attack the other raider groups, super mutants, and feral ghouls. Maybe even take out the local deathclaws. Or just hire some of them to join you in clearing out settlements before settting up shop.

      There is a mod on Nexus which allows the player to do contract work for the Gunners.

    Want to double check, I'm still not totally familiar with the technical jargon.

    Will this work with Horizon? Does this change stats? It just adds more units? I certainly love the idea.

      It should work fine with Horizon. I am not aware of any popular mods that alter the Gunner locations. If you are using a mod that alters the same locations then yes, there will be a conflict.

      What this mod does is:

      1) alter the visual look of the locations (more sandbags, choke points, overlapping fields of fire) by adding and removing items to make each location look like it is being occupied by a tactically aware group.

      2) add extra enemies. This is not as simple as dumping more spawners instead I plan to go through the more elaborate locations and position Gunner snipers on high points or add shotgunners in close quarters, etc...

      According to the lore the Gunners are tactically equivalent to the BoS but lack morals. The vanilla Gunner locations look like raider camps without dead bodies on spikes.

      Hallucinogen - for the exterior location the Gunners all start dead, a result of chemical exposure. However, the guards outside should have had robotic companions to assist them in holding the building. I modified the exterior to include bots while leaving the existing Gunners dead. I also added some dead Raiders who made the mistake of dropping by.

      As I learn more about how the creation kit works I will go back and adjust previously modified locations.

      Sounds like I should remove "Immersive Gunners Plaza" then. Your mod is more comprehensive

      Are you kidding? Your mod is great!

      You did get me to thinking and I am going to start breaking out each location in its own location.esp file so that if someone prefers a different mod (like yours) they can pick and choose and not worry about conflicts.

    My first impression on reading the title was gunners would get good guns and better armor(personal gear). As is, they are just fancy raiders. A gunner with a pipe gun??? Pffft, that has to be one bad joke.

      Even in vanilla Gunners should never spawn with a pipe gun.

      I get your point though, check the new interior of Joe's Spuckies off of Postal Square.
