As much as I love the functionality of this mod, saving my new character create sanity, In pursuing reasons for random crashes my efforts have brought me to several mods with deleted meshes or base records.
This mod has 122 deleted base records. 122! I'm not good enough with xEdit to find those or even know what to look for, but I don't need to know all that to know that 122 base game records being deleted is never a "good thing." And since this mod hasn't been updated in over three years I'm just going to have to turn off the sound next time. What a shame.
Well, 4ussian4oulette -- I didn't see your reply. As far as what I've learned, deleted records are not about changes made to game behavior. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but deleted records usually means something is looking for those records. I am not a mod author. My skills in xEdit are feeble. But I do read a lot because I want to learn. I just remember reading that deleted records in a mod is not a "good thing" and has nothing to do with deleted functions of the game within the mod. Criticize me if you must, but I was just reporting from what I was learning from others. Again, always happy to be corrected, but with constructive criticism such as explaining it to me.
Lol ... Everybody needing this mod can't feel the love for a game. Like many people said and think - It's essential for a really good character creation and only a substitute for turning down the volume ... I think I need a mod, pressing "W" for me when I say "walk forward" or eehhr ... I just press it by myself ... Yeah, think that's clever.
Shame on all of you, hope you got a nasty valentines Day ^~^
Or, and hear me out, it's for people who play the game a lot and want to get the character creator over with quickly. No need to be all aggressive because someone made a mod you don't like.
This mod is a godsend for people that make, or experiment with character presets. Not having the constant noise of them is one thing. But also not having them disrupt your work by their animations is also another thing. And a very big, huge bonus.
Can't get the full or lite version to work for me. Either one, I just get stuck on a bright white screen. I have sound. But... just a white screen. Sadness. :(
Edit: Never mind. Removing the "no cinematic intro" file fixed the issue. Apparently a mod somehow depends on that intro being there to then alert the player that its mod has been installed. Using the "full and no radio" version, and it's working great. I can open the presets menu and scroll and click on things. So I'm not sure why others are having an issue. If it's the female they're having issues with, a lot of mods can mess up female character creation. I stick with the male.
Well, I installed the SAICC FULL and NO RADIO file and I had the same problem as other(s)? - I can open the presets menu, but I can't scroll or click on anything. What a shame, I really need this mod!
EDIT: OK I tried the SAICC Lite and NO RADIO file and I was able to use my presets so I'm hopeful this is good. Thanks! I'm so happy not to listen to the radio's three songs that I have memorized and have nightmares about LOL
Has anyone else had problems using Looks Menu presets with this mod installed? When I get to the character creation screen, I can open looks menu presets but I can not scroll through them or select one. Still, an awesome addition to SKK Fast Start. Thank you.
Is it possible to silence a settler that you assign to the surgery chair? I always have to mute the sound because he just won't STOP talking the same lines.
Here we are in 2020 and mod authors are still providing ESPs. Many of us still playing have 400+ mods installed, far beyond the plug in limit, often because we Bash the eligible ESPs with an ESL flag. While there is a chance Bash can flag these ESPs, you never know until you run compatibility check on them, and not all ESPs are eligible if the modder did some wonky stuff. This is a prime example of a great mod I won't download because its not important to game play and I don't want to fool with finding it in the Bash list and flagging it as an ESL.

Absolutely brilliant, just what I needed.
Thank you for this.

Sadness. :(
