The addition of gas masks was one of my favorite features Fallout 4 delivered on, as they're an iconic staple of the post-apocalypse genre. At first, I quite enjoyed the 'Gas Mask with Goggles' armor piece, but as time went on way more realistic and high-quality gas masks came out on the nexus. That being the case, this is my attempt to keep a base game item up to snuff with the content other modders are putting out. This mod will replace the game low-quality Italian T35 gas mask with a higher-quality German M38 gas mask, coming in either OD Green, Black, Gray, or White for download options. Being as it's a replacer, it's naturally integrated into the world just as the vanilla one would be and functions exactly the same. It also comes with out-of-the-box compatibility for helmets, so you won't have to worry about patches that allow you to wear this gas mask with helmets using the headband armor slot.
Drag and drop the contents of the mod into your game's "Data" folder,
and activate with the mod manager of your choice. Alternatively, install
directly through Mod Organizer 2.
