As much as I love the look of this weapon, I just cannot get it to work in my game in VATS. The gun points up at a 45 degree angle whenever you use it and every shot misses even at point blank range. It may well be a conflict with another mod in my load order, though I did disable all the various animation mods I have and still had the same issue. Hopefully somebody will do something similar to codeblackcrash's "Unofficial Update" series on it because it really is a nice looking mod.
He promised 4 years ago under his video in the pinned comment that he will fix it, looks like he couldn't get to it. Too bad because his mods have great potential, they only need the finishing touches.
i'll get around to it i swear >w< i even figured out the exact bug that causes it, it's because the weapon origin bone which is located near the wrist is rotated, I fixed it in one of my other mods
I wanted to thank you for your mods as I have several installed like the Ruger 556 and AMAC. I would love add this rifle to my load order when the animations get updated.

I've found it to be terribly inaccurate. I've got glow sights installed. Maybe it's a range thing I dunno, I'm dying a lot trying to get a handle on it. I like the gun but I'll probably have to stop using it. Edit: I see now that this is the 'hits not registered bug' in the list. That was listed about a month ago and no fix yet.
Hey! greetings, have you ever considered using the models from the abandoned mod "combat rifle to remington M8 police replacer" by gunguru & justforcensor? i think they are really interesting and fitting for the game, the author havent show signs of life since 2019 so... maybe you could use those, just a suggestiong tho :)
The M8 uses box magazines, which is pretty much bog standard for every Fallout 4 rifle. Handloaded mags break that up, even if they are stripper clips.
I guess it's just a gameplay/style thing. Personally, I wouldn't expect to be seeing too many high capacity, high fire rate weapons 210 years removed from armageddon - given what we are presented with in the Fallout 4 universe. Cannibalization would have destroyed most if not all complex operating weapons. These people can barely tie their own shoes without your help - to this day.
Why is the accuracy so s#*!? Even with max upgrades it misses everything at 30 feet. Also, sometimes the internal 5-round mag just randomly turns invisible, but maybe thats just me.
Dude, love your mods (Both FNV and FO4 Can you please port your goose gun over? Maybe with some customization? Ik this will take a while, but honestly, i picked up the goose gun in FNv and havent stopped using it yet (It kicks ass in The Frontier)
Sir might I say That i absolutely love this fricking MOD!!! Its not as polished as some, but my man or woman, Its a Fricking Remington Model 8. You get a yellow sticky my friend!

Now we only need Tactical Reload/Bullet Counted Reload/True Damage patches for it.
