This mod is obviously no longer being updated but theres another really talented modder out there that came up with a similar yet better mod. Go check this out https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/59353
Hello. i see your mod at a friend PC. For many times, build a settlement, use those pieces, settlers never go there. Trying to get some pieces together leave a empty space between. Also the roof is no solid to walk from outside and the character get down to the floor. Door pieces must be re-designed because is impossible to put them together. Now i hear from my friend - i download this mod again, and remove it from data folder.
Hey Sebos so eine mod suche ich schon überall! Danke fürs hochladen :) ICh hab sie über NMM runtergeladen hab auch alle nötigen mods runter geladen F4SE etc. aber ich finde deine Bauteile nicht im workshop mode :(
Hello friendly user! So theres one snap point for the exterior part which is at the lower part of the gear hole. Since the gear room is quite big it's easier to snap the exterior to the room. I have not implemented the gear door and the catwalk, which is actually one part, cause I havent been able to make it a functional open and closeable workshop object. But luckily there's another mod out there for this from ccmads (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10385)
Ah thank you. Unfortunately I can't seem to get them to snap. The exterior wall just dosn't want to snap to either the Vault Gear Room or Vault 111 Gear Room.
Well all I can tell is that I put them on that point I said, maybe it's a bit tricky but I tried it myseld ingame and it worked for me.. Maybe you may change the position from where you are snapping. That helps sometimes
I'll keep trying. I can't seem to get it to, but I'll keep trying. Funny enough the flat exterior will happily snap to another flat exterior. But not the one styled on Vault 95's. If I can't figure it out I'll just redownload or try fiddling some more with Place Everywhere. Thanks for the help :) Endorsed :)
He's right, the exteriors do not snap to the gear rooms. It's probably so finicky that you have to have both pieces perfectly aligned, which functionally is the same as not snapping at all. You'd probably be better off adding more points, and let the end user deal with the usual problem of things snapping to the wrong point the first dozen tries or so lol
I opened the gear rooms in both CK and Nifskope, and they do NOT have snap points. Maybe your working copy of the mod has them but the updated meshes didn't make it to the distribution archive?
Loving the pieces you provided with this mod to help me add more variety to my vault and I can't wait see to more of them! More vault pieces for multi-story rooms, especially for the atrium, and pieces with different floor textures e.g. cafeteria, lavatory, etc would certainly be appreciated. I look forward to seeing more updates in future and I wish you good luck for 2021!

Another way for me to solve this is to merge them so you can place them directly together
