      Thanks for the info.

It has been a long time since I last played/modded Fo4 and didn't even realize things like SAM could be applied.
Very happy that neck seam is gone and I can adjust everything in-game so easily.

For those who don't want to wait for an update:

You have to download zex skeleton manually, extract the skeleton.nif, open it with nifskope...

Search through the bones untill you get to HEAD (Under the COM tree).

Right click on the "HEAD" node, select "Attach Parent Node >>> NiNode"

On the new node that is created, click the "txt" box below and name it "CME_HEAD"

Click on "Flags" and change the number from 15 to 14

Click on "Translation" and change the X to -1.7 and Y to -2.0

Click on "Scale" and set to 1.29

    Save

Replace your Zex Anime Skeleton with the one you just saved.

    *edit*
To make it look good, you'll need to do the same for the collarbones, neck, neck skin, and whatever Solus did. Just look at the file and see what bones need CME bones and what values you need to put on them. CME bones are control bones, fyi.

--- I don't know about the facial bones, someone will have to tell me

(*edit* Updated, fixed large head, shrunk the hands about 5%, and decreased neck size 2-3%)
But, if you can't figure it out, use mine: Download

It took me a while to get the hang of it, and yes, it works.

I successfully modified the ZEX5 skeleton and used it in SSF. Thank you very much

Thank you so much. Was able to patch it myself following your guide.
Actually learned how to fix some stuffs myself using nifskope after some practices with this.

You can actually change facial features scales separately like eye brows and nose. However, the face as a whole doesn't have a node, but couldn't your method work on the face node? I think it should and I'll try

Did you just change the head and neck of the skeleton or changed other scales like the shoulders or any part of the body?

In nifskope the right shoulder is not at same height as the left

So what does this file overwrite? It is supposed to overwrite AnimeRace but is ZeX supposed to overwrite both of them? Or do you put these 2 mods after ZeX load order?

    Will this skeleton support BodyTalk?

don't see why not, bodytalk is using the same skeleton, and this modification only resizes some of the bones to get the "large head" effect while still being compatible with most headwear.

Did you end up getting it to work with bodytalk? For me the skeleton looks all deformed for the male parts.

To this day it isnt fixed so i guess no chads pounding anime girls for me.
All the males w/bodytalk look deformed bc ZaZ overwrite with this mod

Late to the thread, but you can get the anime skeleton and Zaz Skeleton to work by leaving the default skeleton in without overwriting it and following these steps from this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/47600 . Once you done that now your player will have the anime skeleton while npcs work off the Zaz skeleton

Ive got with the same problem, with the body talk installed, if I overwrite the zakskeleton with this mod, the male character's body just disappered.

@loseztj Excuse me sir, A year late, but how do you exactly operate and does your bodytalk co-exist with nanako races whilst your chads' son doesn't look completely off the mark?

I attempted RedKnight's instructions + used https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4130180-tutorial-connection-points-with-nifskope-for-wall-items/ to learn how to use nifskope.
To actually name the parent bone CME_HEAD you'd need to update the string array in the header first.

And it worked. Looked good enough, i didnt bother with the neck and collarbones because I dont know what to mess around with for them. BodyTalk is still broken though but im not sure if it is due to this.

Edit: I turned off all animemods and yeah BodyTalk is still deformed. so whew.
