Outside of the Old North Church there are a couple of destroyed buildings and a beautiful boardwalk that overlooks the Boston Airport. I'm really hyped for Fallout Miami, so I wanted to build some buildings that sort of reminded me of Florida.
There's WFLA, the radio station* that broadcasted feel-good tunes from the Boston harbor, complete with staff quarters and a skylit bedroom at the top. There's Cosmic Comics, a comic book shop that players can use to house and display their cool loot (Nuka Girl costume, Silver Shroud outfit, et cetera). There are two empty storage units that you could put stores in, or turn into houses for other NPC's. There's some light fortification around the whole pier.
My goal was to provide a unique and lore friendly space that you could customize at your leisure (which is why it's as light as I could make it re: necessary mods). It's pretty nice compared to a lot of boston, but it still looks like it was fortified and defended *after* an apocalypse.
I'm disappointed in myself for not building this in the GECK-- it'd probably be a lot cleaner to install and play with if it were just one ESP, but the GECK is a lot more difficult than the in-game Snappy Building stuff.
*There is no radio station that broadcasts from WFLA. I want to learn how to do it and outfit it with some old mambos and cuban folk songs, but I don't really understand what goes into making a radio station.
