I usually defend Creation Club stuff but honestly I was kinda disappointed with VR Workshop. It was definitely neat, but there wasn't a whole lot I could do since they limit a lot of stuff. The Maps were definitely neat, but I feel like someone who does Machinima would get more use out of VRWS rather than someone like me who casually plays FO4 and doesn't make little movies. (Like the makers of Raiders, Psycho, Dead Company, or UpIsNotJump.)
I think I'd like VR Workshop more if I could set down the Settlement Ambush Kit Siren and have Raiders/Gunners attack the VR Settlements, and if the thing you build that spawns enemies weren't giant blue pyramids... (And if the enemies weren't glowing blue ghosts that actually do damage.)
That said I am excited to see what mods people make for it.
I'm simply amazed that no modder has supplied tons of Tiki supplies and no one has built any sort of Tiki bar.
I've been hoping for years, even in the early days of Unreal Tournament, that someone would start building virtual environments for all to enjoy without having to leave home.
