It's awesome... so far, but not all on its own. The mod needs serious help... as I couldn't make it from one town to the next, or even enter/exit buildings without CTD'ing my system to death.

Install The Zone, and then install that mod... although I installed the patch mod after I had already started playing The Zone, she still works great. I've had only 2 CTDs in the same amount of time I would have had 10 others. The broken precombs are just too much to handle without that fix.
Other than that... even though it's a homage to S.T.A.L.K.E.R... there's nothing keeping this from becoming much more. At least in the bounty part... I mean, there's space and then there's space... we're talking about a near Far Harbor sized DLC, yet you walk for miles and search for days just to get a couple handle fulls of caps or other loot... lots of Legendary enemies, very few Legendary items.
There's more... but that doesn't take the fun out of this mod at all. Just by itself, expands the CommonWealth playability... endorsed and worth putting in your load order library.
By the way... I don't recommend playing this mod at super low XP levels like a new game or 10/20... get yourself up there. Minimum fun starts at around 150 to 175, and I'm near peak at over 250... the mod gets better the harder it is to play without going full survival.
Thanks for this.
Will edit from here down with issues found: CTDs just by walking around (before patch mod). Could not enter the Bar (before patch mod), CTD.
Cannot exit Z-16 thru the ladder at the end, CTD. Cannot enter Z-10 at all, CTD. Stay on the roads down south.. if not, the map may not always render and you'll be floating in air. Any attempt to approach any part of Ghost Town, CTD. Even fast travel to any. Final CTD... The Wish Granter.
In conclusion, I was able to "finish" the mod, but not actually call it a success. Only way I could end it, was to delete all the save files and remove the mod(s). Just like Hotel California... I could check out any time wanted, but I could never leave.
2.5/5 stars... since it is very enjoyable, huge map, great gun fights.. but the CTDs are worse than Fallout: London.
From what I've read, if you make your worldspace too big, you get this issue with not being able to run, and this mod seems to hate the idea of loading screens between worldspaces lol.
What will really crack you up.. is that you can sprint/run in the Commonwealth (from one side of the map to the other), but external mods run into this issue.
Wow. You have absolutely nailed pretty much the entire zone. You've nailed parts I forgot were in the first game, and besides the ghost city aka pripyat being on the wrong side of the radar you got s#*! done, just wow. I'm still yet to head back and see if maybe ghost city is an actual alternate version of the city and the CNPP can still be found west(or east, the compass is upside down which isn't a deal-breaker imo), so this might even just be a clever easter egg. Speaking of which, love the little nods towards all the different media you seem to enjoy and couldn't really agree more. Would love if the city's hotel had a way to get to the top floor but that might not have been in SoC come to think of it. All the kudos, I agree that this area could definitely use a map but just playing through once as if speed-running the original game has been a ton of fun so far.
Really awesome start, but I definitely did have some issues. 1.) I THOROUGHLY searched, and never found the Z-18 Password #2. Had to cheat it. Assuming it is in game and not just glitched for me, it is TOO well hidden. 2.) I THOROUGHLY searched, and never found a way to legally get the the city at the end. Had to cheat it. See point 5. 3.) There doesn't seem to be any legal way to get to the platform where the wishmaster is. Short of a jet pack. This should be addressed. A Jet Pack should not be a requirement to finish a quest. If there was a way to do this it was so well hidden as to effectively not exist. This should be addressed. 4.) Many wall textures in many of the buildings throughout the mod are missing, or see through. 5.) This mod DESPERATELY needs a world map. Please consider figuring this part out.
All these issues aside, it was still fun to play. I do wish a recreation of the Chernobyl reactor was included. As detailed as possible. THAT would really kick ass.
Kind of a necro and posting this under the assumption you haven't found it yet, but there is definitely a way to get to the city. There's a T intersection before what S.T.A.L.K.E.R. players will know as the Brain Scorcher that goes straight to what would be Pripyat this area has big pipes on the left behind a chain link fence with Gunners in the area.
At this T intersection, you go right and follow the road all the way. You'll see the city almost immediately once you exit the tunnel and start turning left. Enter city and "have fun".
Another thing I forgot to mention is that the Lab Z-18 passwords are on two dead Brotherhood soldiers, one's on the first level and the second's in the back of the warehouse by some times and small stairs, you need to hack the terminals to open the doors to get access to the second Z-18 password. The only thing I've noticed that need to be "cheated" for would be the key card to get into Z-18 since it's not where it's supposed to be in line with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl.
Wasn't dissapointed at all! Map lagged abit in some places, but i can tell you did opitimze alot of the map. Found a bunch of references and items. Only complaint, which is probably my fault, alot of super mutants near the end only have Missile launchers, which gets irritating quickly. totally would play again!
Great stuff, thanks for your work. Also I'm given the amount of supermutants with bulletproof heads I killed there I'm starting to think the moral of this mod is that you should never come to Ukraine under any circumstances.
Honestly, screw the commonwealth. A lot of alternate start mods have an option to start in the glowing sea. Then just run to the entrance. Might be necessary to use god mode. But you will have much more challenging and rewarding experience starting in the zone. Almost every area has a safe zone, at least one minor dungeon which is usually mutants and raiders and a hard dungeon. The opening area has a safe area with a trader, two minor dungeons (using dungeons loosely. It more like combat encounters) with raider across from safe area and low-level gunner to the north, and hard dungeon in the underpass. You can kill the raider and gunner for equipment to attack the underpass. I usually farm mutants for food since medical supplies are rare in beginning area. Combat Armor is plentiful further in the zone. You'll fight tons of gunner and find killed brotherhood. So, you won't have to be stuck with low-level armor for long. I would rely on hit and run tactics to clear out the enemies. Once you make it to the BAR, you'll usually be well established by then. Milage will vary based on mods. You will gain tons of level before you ever return.
