hello Thanks for this workaround ! But it doesn't seem to work onto white wall lights... can't use Scrap Everything mod because i play sim settlement (and, as we can read everywhere, here from tankting, a sim settlement project developper saying : "It makes some really deep changes in cells to remove precombined objects which can cause some performance issues and the AI to go insane from changes to the navmeshes when you scrap something the game expects to be there.")
Got a huge build in vault 88 the whole volume is occupied. <i'm willing to eliminate the max of light sources to preserve the ones created by sim settlement plots.. as i'm yet flirting with performance limits..... just to explain why i can't start afresh Vault 88 nor use an old save.... would you (or anyone) have any suggestion ? Thanks again for this great idea anyway, and merry xmas :)
Ok I find out ! i used place evreywhere mod and it has a useful function called "extra object selection" (toggled with Insert key) . Had to get very very close of those white wall lights in order to be able to select/scrap em without destroying anything else ... as "scrap everything mod" i guess it can be quite dangerous and use at our own risk (noteworthy with navmeshed objects)... I let the post in case it can help.
This does not work for me. I have used spring cleaning and scrap everything ultimate and on the command "scrap all" it leaves all light intact. It scraps many walls and leaves the vault in a mess but not the lights .
Good work, seems well thought-out. I won't be using it because I'm not much of a builder, but props to you for adding something that seems like it should've been in the game anyways.
Thank you! This definitely should have been included. There wasn't really any effort by Bethesda to pair these up outside of the main chamber. Much of it was sloppily done in a big hurry.
