    how did you get your rifle to have those stats like the range and the fast rate of fire ?

      I tend to tweak weapons for my personal use. Mainly it's range - I find the vanilla range limit completely arbitrary, useless, and annoying. As for rate of fire... I got nothing. That's not usually something I touch. At any rate, I apparently just took a screenshot of *my* file, with tweaked range, instead of the posted file, which left it at vanilla values.

    A pity it couldn't have been in just 5.56 and 7.62. New Calibers is cumbersome, especially when creating alongside Better Locational Damage. This was the patch I was hoping for in game standard calibers. Something along the lines of a mini-FN FAL Expansion Project. The weapon has such a broad spectrum of weapons it can represent; HK33 in 5.56mm to the HKG3, HK G3SG/1, CETME Model 58, L1A1, Vektor R4/R5/R6 (just to name a few).
    If you become aware of a game standard caliber re-chamber for the FN FAL SA58, or the Hunting Rifle in 7.62mm and .45-70, please let me know. A whole lot of real world weapons can be approximated with those rounds, on those frames.

      Well you could always learn your way around New Calibers yourself and make patches to make it work how you want.
      It's really not that complex to build your own sets of conversions for specific firearms as well as set the base caliber for said weapons as you see fit.
      And who knows. If you upload your patches there may be others on the site who want them exactly as you do.

      I'll craft a patch with new receivers that fire 5.56 and 7.62mm in the FN-FAL. WIP using FO4Edit. Not terribly complicated. Keeps things streamlined and simple.

      If you're still working on that patch, I'd just take out the two keywords added to the weapon in my file and start adding in receiver mods that change the caliber instead. Shameless plug, but that's the method I followed for the G3 Family patch I made: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42691
      Feel free to use that as a frame of reference for what you want to do!

    Very nice. Good to see more people have started making New Calibers patches. Now I've got some competition
    I'm glad I'm not the only one giving New Calibers some love these days.
    I didn't notice any issues when I looked through it in XEdit, either. Very nice work.
