This kind of place makes up for so much creative construction possibilities! But I do fear the lags and crashes because it's the city area and there's a lot of stuff including enemies... I'll try it though, it looks like a fun challenge. I always wanted to have a settlement on Garden Terrace because it seems a perfect spot to me but this can be cool too.
ok, sorry about the comment bombardment. i noticed a Lot of your sets are near enemy spawn zones. like this one which is Loaded with enemies. did you do anything about that? and as far as nav mesh and pathing goes is this any different than using the 'Conquest' mod? (which i Stopped using...for reasons) To Be Fair i am Going to download this Now and build the Gee-Willikers out of it! Just so you know
Well, I don't touch enemy spawn points on purpose, you need to take them into consideration when building defenses, meaning don't concentrate only on outside threats! As to NAVMEShing, I don't usually do that but I 'cheat' a little and try to give surfaces that allow building. Skycity has LOT areas to build on, LOT! Tip: check also the roofs of nearby tall buildings!
Pt 2: i started building in the 'raider' zone. all is good. (just activated workshop without actually getting TO workshop) and whenever i get into 'skycity' proper, north of WS, (SM zone) i CTD... there are all kinds of possiblities why. i mean it's Boston ... made by Bethesda... so , yah. any ideas about what i might try next to stop/slow CTD issue? i really want to build up there and it may be simply to overload pc and mods, but the opportunity to build Babylon's Hanging Gardens and the 'Tower of Babel' (inverted) AND; settlers? 1 showed up when beacon went up but i can not 'send' anyone there. is there a way to proc that? is the workbenched 'Named' in ck?
Always activate the Workbench the very first time at the actual bench. This avoids many possible mishaps!
Can't send settlers there? Did you check that the settlement shows well on Map and Mini-Map? Also do provisioner routes show right?
I had this similar problem on my new MOD which I was testing and I just couldn't get it working. Not until I finally took off all MOD's I had added after last time all worked well. And yes, the settlers started to behave right. Bethesda, other MOD's, and sometimes my own mistakes, they all can affect things. I often manage to get things running after changing Load Order, but not this time, hence the radical MOD cleaning. I have now added said MOD's back one at a time to see which one caused this behavior.
Anyway, I am sure you get the gist of it: these things happen and it may take various things to fix them. I hope you manage to find the reason and get back to good gaming!
thanks, no it does not show on map. and i suspected the prob might have been the activation issue, but i don't know how. i think this is best for another play-through. it got added mid way and with tons of lvl 3 SS2 settlements. so it's most likely an overload or load order issue. i appreciate your comments, and of course your mods thanks again.
when i get back to it i'll put some pics of a 'Minecraftian' hanging gardens. (placing 'grounded' blocks floating in air with stairs) :O
Good day, dear author. For a long time you did not please us with your works ... I would very much like to arrange a settlement in the Covenant Compound or in the Acadia, in abandoned and friendly shelters ... Thanks for all your previous works.
So I don't know if this is a issue with the mod, but all my settlers just stand still in one spot unless i move them manually. i have two of them assigned to farming but they just stand still far away from the crops doing nothing. Does anyone have a fix?
Edit: fixed the issue by uninstalling a mod but now the settlers just walk around in random directions?
so a quick update: i have five settlers, one of wich I can't find, the two assigned to farming are still producing food but just standing at the other side of the freeway, and my other two settlers are just walking the same path over and over again. a problem with the navmesh perhaps?
Hmm, ok, let me expand on that little, HAHAHA: Since Super Mutants and Raiders and Gunners and my Companions have no trouble walking around there I assumed that Settlers wouldn't have problems either. My bad! Anyway, it is what it is, sorry.
Looks awesome ! Gonna try this ! I love your settlements Ragoda : thumbs up !! (Must be a fps nightmare for low-end CPs though, cause that area was a pain on my old PC... )
So, do all of your settlement mods still work with the current version of the game? I've been eyeing some of the older ones close to sanctuary but it doesn't seem like they've been updated since they were uploaded. I'm fairly new to modding so I don't know how it works, but the mods I've been using so far from nexus all have to update when the game does. I really hope they still work since I'd love to have more settlements in the sanctuary region for my minutemen playthrough! Also, I know your settlements don't have any borders, so is there any other way to tell in game where the settlement ends without looking at a map?

And would be nice to package best settlements yes, like 2-4 packages, each with 4-6 settlements. Is that what you meant?
aio=all in one

FPS is manageable if not that good though, but Library area has been worst so far.
1. most of my settlement MOD's have a picture of the Build Area, (though not this one of course, HAHAHA)
2. when and where the build area stops
I hope this was helpful! :D
ps. as to updating my MOD's, I haven't done it to any, but I might do it if complaints start coming saying that they have stopped working...
