I would want if possible something like this: An override/change to the mechanical menace quest where Ada doesn't exist, but there's two holotapes in the area that did all of this.
Thank you so much for this. I'm curious, could something like this be done to get all the Bobbleheads at your feet instead of making copies with the additem command?
Over a year too late, but it could be that another DLC or even a mod has moved the Automatron's baseID number. Open the console and type: help ada 4 NPC_ If the first listing of NPC Ada doesn't start with 0100, then that's the problem. Type in console: help DLC01Lair01 4 CELL - and note the first 4 numbers of the number in brackets. Edit the batch file and change all references to 0100 to whatever that command above gave you. Save and retry.
Regards and hope you're all having a great Christmas :).
Automatron was a wonderful idea, but far too buggy for me. I like mods, and I really love Fallout 4, and still play it with the same enthusiasm as when I first got it. This little batch file, this is like Christmas, thank you so much, as far as I'm concerned Automatron can rust in pieces.
I did a mod version of this if you want to do it yourself. I don't post my mods as I'm 52 and don't want to deal with the hassle. Set the following: Holotapes: 1008B47: X -3282.899902 Y 4009.989990 Z 1091.625000 AZ: 307
1008B46: X -3280.889893 Y 4027.120117 Z 1091.625000 AZ 307
1008B45: X -3283.899902 Y 3990.770020 Z 1091.625000 AZ 307
Duplicate Terminal 100D5DF: X 226.309998 Y 410.079987 Z -127.349998 AZ 86.3300
To open the first door, you simply need to go in through through the front as you first came in and the activator will work for player. All the other doors will be open and the terminal above opens the last door.
If you create one similar, credit Kaiser327 - VoodooChild and we're good. -VoodooChild
Mechanist-part2 Worked like a charm, thanks for this... I was worried that the item id's would be off. I tried loading in the tape I could not locate after fighting my way down. It seemed I was using the wrong load order number, yours were correct..... ?

When I use console to summon tapes, access computer wont proceed with tape authentication.
