    Are Eleanor and Teddy counted as part of the settlement?

    If it tickles your fancy,
    I would love to have Far Harbor Horizons Flight 1207, with Erickson, as a settlement.
    With the new Fawkes mod I want to make a settlement for Erickson, Strong and Fawkes there.

      Thanks. Eleanor is counted as settler, Teddy is not. But he will stay in the settlement.

      Nice idea with Horizons Flight 1207. Maybe a project for the future? I have not made any settlements for Far Harbor yet.

    I love the fact that this mod exists!


    Recently I was walking through the little village that is east of Eleanor's place and I noticed that the bears were gone. (I did not kill them yet, because I was level 1 and only had melee weapons, I used an alternate start mod and started at the edge of the glowing sea).
    As I went up the hill towards Eleanor's place, I heard the bears and gunfire.
    The bears were attacking Eleanor!
    And in the vanilla game she is not essential!

    Long story short, I managed to kill the bears at level 1 with only a sledgehammer (and lots of Jet).

    After almost loosing Eleanor like that, I decided to set up defences at that place.
    Originally I intended to use a mod that lets you make settlements anywhere, but I am glad I found this mod!
    I will use this mod to make Eleanor's place into a nice safe place.

    Q: Is Eleanor's trailer scrappable?

    I'd hate to build a nice condo next door and make her continue to live in that dump. But I also don't want to break her AI in the process.

      Eleanor's trailer ist not scrappable.

      But otherwise Eleanor should act like other settlers and you can move her to another bed.

      Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and installed the mod after asking the above question, and it's no big deal. Rather than disabling the trailer, I used it as a handy platform for a couple of turrets.

      What makes this an especially good location is the busy intersection nearby, where some kind of battle is always going on. I think of it as home delivery - every batch of ferals or synths that shows up saves me a trip to the DC market for supplies. Pairs well with Chestnut Hill Station.

    Am usin this on me 3rd save now, and it all works like a charm.
    Great tiny place and cute little adds.
    BUT!
    Eleanor is not marked essential.
    Thats kinda odd, cause i alrdy had to reload a few times after she died in settlement attacks.
    Im pretty sure I didnt shoot her.

    Correct me if im wrong.

    it would be possible for you to do the same with other places with npcs like: Donny from the quest "Here There Be Monsters" lives on a dock behind the Shamrock Taphouse... Peabody Family after finishing the "Kid In A Fridge" quest... the Mechanist from the Automatron DLC and her companion Eyebot... There is also a doctor I found in one of the game plays that I don't remember where it is it would be totally immersive to be able to turn them into settlers!!!
    Your idea has incredible immersive potential !!!

      There's a Peabody Family as settlers mod already, and AFT can turn any NPC without complicated scripting into a companion if you look at them and use the activator.
      Then just dismiss them (you might have to use the actions menu in the activator) and then they will function as settlers.
      Just don't do it for shop keepers and quest essential NPC's pre-quest.
      Most recently I sent a synth from a random encounter to live in Sanctuary after his two friends discovered his true nature and were going to kill him.

    From "testing" I've found that this isn't compatible with Transfer Settlements. Is there a way to make it compatible?
