Great mod, I like using multiple companions and they get in the way of everything. The no collision on settlers was a welcome surprise but what wasn't was the fact that even the hostile enemies didn't have collision either. Fucked up pain train entirely and melee when not using vats. If you're not playing a melee build, this mod is for you.
I wonder when someone will finally get around to making a collision mod to STOP HAIR FROM CLIPPING thru our necks and backs/clothing. I don't give a rat's ass about collision, or lack thereof about anything else, but when I spend hours/days creating a great looking character, I get sick to death watching the hair clip thru everything - totally ruins the hard work.
Can't thank you enough for this. On my fourth playthrough, decided to get more into companions this time and remembered why I completely stopped using them. They are constantly in the way and get you killed too often by blocking escape paths. More recent games have been implementing no npc collision, a very nice feature and I'm so happy someone thought to do this for FO4.
Works great for avoiding congestion with companion(s) in stairways and going through doors. But that comes with an annoying side effect. When walking along a road or actually anywhere, companions tend to 'merge' with your character. You end up looking ahead from inside the head of your companion. Worse yet, when trying to shoot when a companion is 'merged' with your character, you end up shooting your companion instead. Probably something to do with the game engine and its own character boundaries assignments. I'm guessing this mod just disables the collision barrier for characters so they don't react to each other in order to avoid collisions. Works great for some situations, but not so much for others.
Wanting to try this but neither main file version can be put in the Data folder? Getting the error 0x80004005 - "unspecified error". Dunno what that's about
How does this interact with AAF animations? Would love to not have to yell at my followers all the time but don't want to risk breaking stuff mid-game to install this and potentially have to uninstall again if they misbehave together.

Although, it makes melee a lot whackier when people just clip through me when they or I lunge to strike, but then melee is already whacky anyway.
Randomly searching for a way to stop colliding with NPCs, this mod wasn't even top listed... Everyone is sleeping on this!
I seem to have also gotten a massive fps bump as well. Did anyone else experience a fps gain?
Spread the word on this mod. Thank you SO MUCH slaugh7er!
